These blades are great for cutting thru sheetrock and wood that is not 4" deep. 2 x 4s are dust to these blades. I was cutting thru a 2x4 and didn't realize that there was a nail in the center. This blade hesitated and then chewed right thru it with no sweat. I have an off brand tool and these blades fit it with no problem. They stay sharp a long time depending on what you are cutting with them. I like this tool because of the different types of blades that you can get. These are my favorite because of the durability. I recommend these to any oscillating tool that is out there. Good tool!
nice blades, and they do exactly what they advertise they'll do.
I was a little skeptical about the metal-cutting ability of these blades, but now I'm a believer. As you can see from the pictures, I cut a copper tube (1/2"), a 1/4" metal bolt, and some 1/16" sheet metal, and not only did it cut everything, but the teeth were still sharp after all that. The center teeth were slightly less sharp than the outer ones, but not by much. Based on this, I would guess that you could cut 2-3 dozen 16-penny nails without problems. I will be adding this to my tools as an alternative to cutoff disks and metal jigsaw or reciprocating saw blades in the future.
A great product. I tried it on 1/4" plywood & it cut it very fast and the edges of the cut was very even & it did not have any burn marks. The titanium coating seems to cut into the wood like a hot knife cutting into butter. They fit into my multi-saw (vibrating saw) very easily. Each blade has depth marks to give you measurement of how deep you are cutting.
Having a 3 pack helps in the cost instead of getting one blade at a time.
These Arrow Titanium coated blades are an excellent choice for your oscillating tool, especially when cutting through material that may contain nails or screws. These blades are not as aggressive as blades designed for cutting only wood or drywall but you won't wear down all teeth if you encounter an embedded nail or screw. These blades have easy to read markings indicating their intended use as well as easy to read depth measurement markings.
These blades fit most brands of oscillating tools; the titanium coated blades are great for cutting metal, wood, drywall, etc. My husband uses them to make fine cuts and is able to do an array of fine woodworking using these blades. These blades have upgraded his skill level. The titanium coating helps to provide long life to the blades. I would definitely recommend these blades for any home tradesman.
Arrow 1-3/8 in. Titanium Coated Cutting Blade Pack (3-Pack)
The Arrow 1-3/8 in. Titanium Coated Cutting Blade Pack (3-Pack) are an excellent value for the dollar spent. They arrived well packaged and in great shape. We put it through a quick test to see how they will hold up cutting through a tough decking screw as they are tougher than nails. It took a little bit to cut through the screw, but in the end it didn't knock the edges off, just took a little paint off, as you can see in the picture. In the work that we do they will see plenty of use. They just need to start stocking them in the stores.
The biggest problem with oscillating blades is that they don't last as we expect, and this can get expensive. What I have learned is to use them for precision cuts, a finish cut, or in a tight space where you can't get a larger tool. The "Arrow" blades are described as having a Titanium -Nitride coating on the tooth end to reduce heat and provide hardness for longevity. I will have to do a test against some existing "carbon steel " blades I have. I do like the inch/ mm depth guides on the blades. The open back and universal fit went right on my Porter-Cable 110v oscillating tool. Just doing some test cuts on scrap wood and PVC pipe there seemed to be little wear on the teeth. Time will tell but used wisely I believe these Arrow blades will well serve their purpose
Multi-tools have become indispensable for my many remodeling projects, and these Arrow blades will last a long time going through wood with the occasional nail, staple or brad, drywall, plastic like PVC and many other materials. I needed to do a long notch in an old stud wall for an electrical panel replacement and it and it saved hours of work by being able to use my multi-tool with these titanium-coated blades.
The 3-pack is a good value, especially considering how much longer they last than the traditional blades. They fit most brands of tools and seem to stay sharp a long time. One caution when using multi-tools: always use hearing protection. This is the loudest tool in my entire shop.
Arrow Titanium blades fit my Riddgid job max very well and work great always. Each blade has the inch and metric marks on them to help and control the deepth of cuts The blades work well on many types of materials. They are useful for plunge type cuts. They cut through nails very well. The blades cut most all materials like plastic, wood, metal and wallboard. I use mine all the time.
Arrow Titanium coated cutting blades. 1 3/8” size. I was very pleased to find this blade compatible with my Dremel. Since this blade is universal it fits nearly every major brand cutting power oscillating tool on the market. This is a wide blade for fast material removal. Ideal for cutting wood and metal along with drywall and PVC. I use my Dremel a lot because it is less intimidating for me than a heavier saw so I will be using these blades a lot as I begin new projects.
