A: It takes a specially-shaped screwdriver tip to remove the screws. As far as I know, there are no user-serviceable parts. It is so inexpensive, except for trying to remove a broken glue stick blow the feed mechanism, I would personally just replace it if it stopped functioning.
A: Hi Les, I have this glue gun and it is one of the best in class, I do believe. When you talk about engineered Values, I am assuming you are talking about the actual operating temperatures for both the high and low settings. If that is the case, the high temp. setting is 380 degrees and the low temp setting is 160 degrees both are Fahrenheit. Hope this helps.
A: The values shown on the front of the package states: HIgh heat - 380 degrees, Low heat - 302 degrees.
A: Hey Lee, great question! The GT80DT Dual Temperature uses standard glue sticks, or glue sticks that are in the “1/2-inch class.” The actual dimension of the glue sticks is closer to 7/16-inch, or 0.448 ±.010 inches. A: Hello, Mimi. No, the nozzle of this tool cannot be changed. However, we do offer a pro high-temp glue gun with a precision glue control adjustment knob (https://thd.co/2ErocrQ), as well as a dual-temp glue gun with a precision tip (https://thd.co/2V0TVZu). One of those may be better suited for your projects.
