Safeguard bicycles, tools, outdoor equipment, furniture, gardening supplies, swimming pool accessories and more with the Arrow Hamlet steel storage shed with floor frame kit. While a concrete slab or wood deck sub base is still advisable (and in some municipalities, required), the floor kit allows you to easily frame in a floor with separately-sold plywood to keep stored items above ground. Dual sliding front doors open up to 142 cu. ft. of space, while sturdy galvanized steel 5 ft. panels support the gable-style roof and supply sufficient internal headroom.

  • Built with galvanized steel for long-lasting strength
  • 142 cu. ft. capacity supplies plentiful storage space
  • 5 ft. wall height offers adequate headroom for interior maneuverability
  • Precut panels and predrilled parts enable swift assembly
  • Electro-galvanized steel roof supplies overhead protection from UV rays and precipitation
  • 2 front doors slide easily and close snugly
  • 58 in. door height allows convenient entry and exit
  • Great for storing lawn and garden tools

Are likely will the metal eventually rust?

Asked by Bob October 10, 2020

Answer

Hi Bob, As long as the roof and sides do not become damaged or scratched, rust should not be an issue.

Is it possible to install this in a space that is a little over 6' wide, or do you need more room to access the sides?

Asked by ed August 8, 2020

Answer

Hi Ed, We would suggest assembling it right outside of the space you have designated for it. Then with a few helpings hands you can carefully move it into that space. If you have any additional questions or concerns feel free to give us a call at 1-800-851-1085 (press 1).

Would have rather built my own shed but material cost has gone through the roof. This was a cheaper cost by far but a drasticly lower quality product. But it will do for what it is buillt for. I can not even stand up at the tallest portion of the top ridge. They are easy enough to build with 2 people if you read the isnstructions carefully. I built mine by myself using lots of squeese camps and 2x4 boards. The shed must be built on a flat level surface to fit together properly. The only thing I had to buy for assembly was a roll of weather stripping tape, the kit comes with it's own and there is plenty to seal up the top ridge but I wanted a little over-kill on mine so I bought a 3" wide roll. No missing parts and plenty of screws, bolts, nuts and washers with left overs. I had the most trouble installing the roof bolts at the roof beams. Due to no help I had to tape the bolt head down on the roof and use a needle nose vice grip to hold the nut and then clamp the vice grip to the roof beem while I tighened the bolt from the top.

THE SHED IS OKAY, THE METAL FRAME AND WALLS ARE THIN GRADE STEEL BUT IT WAS INEXPENSIVE COMPARED TO OTHER SHEDS. THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE A BIT OF A PROBLEM, SOMEWHAT VAGUE AND EVEN MISLEADING AT TIMES. SOMEONE AT ARROW NEEDS TO ASSEMBLE A SHED USING THE PRINTED INSTRUCTIONS AND THEN CORRECT AND RE-WRITE CERTAIN STEPS AS THEY GO ALONG. I DID LOVE THE FACT THAT THE BOX FIT IN MY PRIUS WITH ROOM TO SPARE, SAVED TIME AND MONEY AS NO TRUCK WAS NEEDED TO BRING IT HOME.

Excellent instructions, relatively easy to assemble. I did it solo over three minimally stressful days. One complaint - a few of the parts were not labeled, although it was easy to figure out what they were from the instructions. I am a newly retired physician and because by law I am required to store all my patients' charts for five years, this serves perfectly as a storage facility for the charts at a fraction of the cost it would be to rent public storage space. See attached photo.

Easy to put together, directions confusing in some places
The shed was fairly easy to put together, takes about 6 hours with one person building and one assisting. In some places the directions were slightly confusing and later we thought that some of the instructions should have been in a different order (e.g. nuts and bolts on sides, hard to put on once strength bar had been installed. Overall though for the price, it's a great little shed for the money.

A Serious Pain to Assemble
What a nightmare to assemble. It takes a VERY long time to assemble this thing. If you have 2 or more people it will be fairly fast, but by yourself it sucks. It's a sturdy shed that keeps out the elements but, my God. I will never buy anything sheet metal again.

Hello,

We are very sorry to see you experienced difficulty assembling your shed. Assembly time depends on a variety of factors, including roof design, tools available, DIY skill, and the pace at which you work. Guidelines for each shed assembly are approximate AFTER completion of the base and assume two or more people working on the assembly. Generally, you should plan on at least one day working with someone who can assist you. Please know that we are also available for assembly support 7 days a week at 1-800-851-1085 (press 1).

Thank you ShelterLogic

It's an inexpensive, lower quality storage shed that worked well for my application. Took a full day to assemble. Be sure to closely follow the instructions, but had no real problems to build.
