You should not be getting any lights while using this 100% manual stapler.
I do not believe this would work for that purpose. This stapler was not strong enough to perfectly drive a staple through the dust cover and into the hard wood on the underside of a box spring.
I bought the staple gun when I needed to re-screen my screened in porch. I went through a whole box of staples without any jams.
It should work, I did not use it to install carpet, I used it to hold paper to a 2 X 4 sheet of plywood. I assume you would need the longest staples you could find, depending on the thickness of the carpet. I would also check in the carpet installation area at Home Depot, they may have special carpet installation tools, also ask the employees in the carpet area.
It weigh's under 16 oz
I'm sure it will
It weighs about 2 pounds. I used it to put up insulation in the ceiling
Hey there, we always recommend using Arrow staples for best performance of these tools. However, if the staples referenced have a 3/8-inch crown, they should work with this tool.
