Does this shed come with a floor? Or do you have to separately provide flooring?
Asked by: JKR
This does not come with a floor. I built the base with 2X4's and plywood. The dimensions required are online with the instructions before you buy it you can access these details. You have to level out an area and the base, or floor be level/to be able to square the framing while constructing shed.

Woodlake 10 ft. W x 8 ft. D 2-Tone Wood-grain Galvanized Metal Storage Shed with Floor Frame Kit is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 95.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bad, Not bad at all. Giving a review of this eventhough i bought this close to 2 years ago. Great to see that this shed is still selling and that the price is still a fair price. Installation took a bit, as their were hundreds of screws and bought the supporting floor, which i had to purchase pressure treated wood for. Did the instalaltion myself with a handful of tools. The metal is rather flimsy and truthfully not the sturdiest product out there, but for the price its definitely worth it. This shed, will give you enough space to store your landscape items, including a push mower.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Content So Far It was shorter than expected but not bad at all. I knew it wasn't going to be the best shed ever but it was cheaper than constructing one from start. You do need a handyman to do the job. Floor is something you must construct and that was an extra $200 for GOOD material. One tip: waterproof it. They used a foamy glue in the inside to assure me no water leaked in.

I'm in my 60's, got a bad hip, walk with a limp, sometimes with a cane, and I had no trouble building this shed. The instructions are fine. You can download them before buying the shed and see for yourself. Tools I recommend: 10 pc. Standard Combination Ignition Wrench Set, $14.99 11 pc. 6 pt. Standard 1/4 in.Socket Wrench Set, $14.99 I bought a powered screwdriver on the advice of this web site. It was useful in tearing down the old shed, but not for installing the new one. I used my variable-speed drill for the screws on the roof. Despite bad weather, poor health, and working by myself, I finished in 18 man-hours, over 12 days. It looks terrific. Worth all the effort.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice looking but doors don't close It took my son and I all day today to assemble this shed. The instructions were OK and it wasn't difficult but there are a lot of pieces to it. As we got near the end I remembered why I never wanted a shed with sliding doors... no matter how hard we tried we could not get them to open and close well. Tomorrow I'll take the door tracks apart and try to re-engineer them so they work better but I may end up getting some hinges and making them swinging doors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from quality fine. setup took more than i banked on. too costly. could have had one built for less. shipping to my home, not inside. my handyman had difficulty understanding the instructions, which is unusual for him. he hired a local person. the total cost was more than if he had built one from scratch. but in the end the shed looks great. i have yet to fill it. but "junk will find space to fill it." tnx to your knowledgeable people.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Outdoor Storage Option We bought our first home and it does not have a garage. That means there's no space to store a lawn mower, rakes, shovels, gas can, propane for the grill, etc... This storage shed solved those problems for us. There is plenty of room for a lawn mower - though I have to push it through the door then turn it sideways to fit which may become a problem if the shed gets too full. Right now it is not an issue. I can fit all my outdoor tools and fuel and a couple bags of mulch and there is still plenty of room left over. It has been very rainy here this spring and early summer and everything has stayed dry. It even comes with a roll of mini flashing to seal off the roof - though we did not use it and it is still water tight. Assembly was relatively straight forward. It took a few hours with 2 people, but there were no complications and the instructions were pretty well illustrated. Be advised that there is no floor with the shed. I have a concrete slab in my yard where we installed the shed so the no floor thing was not a problem for me. I am very happy with my purchase. The shed is thin aluminum so you'll want to bolt it down. The doors are also thin aluminum and opening and closing them is a bit herky jerky. I have to rattle them around a bit every time. Not a huge deal but I feel they could have been designed a bit better.

There are a lot of screws and bolts to assemble the shed and you will need 2 people. A number of the pre-drilled holes didn't line up well. Two of the gable ends came bent, which I straightened but still noticeable. If the door opening and roof were 2 inches higher it would be much better.

The shed is fine; pay very careful attention to the assembly instructions and diagram details. As other reviews state, this is a pretty flimsy yet totally functional shed at a low price. Quite a few of the parts were scratched and/or bent out of the box. It is pretty tedious to assemble and definitely requires two people. I expected all this. My main caution is that the instructions are often unclear about all the steps required for assembly and in many places that there is a particular order in which things should be done. For example, the written instructions might say 'attach the side wall to the frame with screws,' which led me to screw the wall to the frame. But the diagram indicates that you also need to use bolts with nuts to secure the wall and, sometimes, you need to do that before the screws, even though the directions don't say so explicitly. So you need to read the text and carefully study the diagram before starting a step. And sometimes, you just need to step back and think about how it will fit together to figure out that you should do some things before others. I realize they can't spell out every nuance in the directions so I'm just cautioning you to read (and reread) every step and think about it before turning a screw.

The door slider the way it is designed, bolts for the attachment of it impede the movement of the door plastic sliders once assembled. Removing them allows for proper door movement. I would suggest redesign

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good inexpensive shed - lots of work This seems like it will sufficiently do the job of protecting outdoor stuff. As other reviews have noted, it takes a long time to assemble. It isn't terribly complicated, but it does have a ton of parts to connect with 1000 screws. Be sure to plan on taking a whole day & make sure winds are minimal.

This shed required 13 labor hours to assemble as that is what a contractor billed us for. The two sliding doors don't slide easily and the bottom of the doors don't contact each other so it is likely some rain will enter the shed. The walls are very thin. Even though I have a lock across the plastic handle, there are merely screws on the outside of the shed that can be unscrewed to remove an entire wall panel or the handles with the lock. We got the floor as an extra. The three sheets of good plywood cost a total of $150. All totaled, this shed cost nearly $2,000 to purchase and install. I would have expected a better product for that kind of money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed We were disappointed and upset with the quality of the materials to begin with. The instructions say "very easy to install", which was anything but the truth. It was quite difficult to put together. The packets of screws, bolts, & nuts just barely completed the shed. There were not enough washers for all the screws and bolts. The instructions were not as clear as they should be. There are far too many gaps (spaces) between shed and floor--which is a cement slab!!!
