Great scissors set!
I got this set as part of the Seeds Review program. I was looking for a better set of Fiskers-type scissors as all of the other sets I had just felt off. These new ArtSkills scissors are soooo much more comfortable. They are a bit thicker and more 'industrial' feeling in their weight, and more importantly, they have a 'bump-stop' where the two handles come together. GENIUS!! Have you ever had your scissors close too much and kind of 'pinch' your fingers? These don't do that. And the cuts seem to be better as well. Can't quite describe it but let's just say that they cut easier. It's definitely noticeable to me. Might not be to you, so there's that. The 2nd pair of detail scissors was a bonus! I keep those in my master bathroom. I use them to easily cut the labels/tags off of new clothing, including those pesky plastic clips. Great small pair of scissors for those. Highly recommend getting this set. I might just buy a 2nd set for out in my garage. I have a tendency to have multiple sets of tools in strategic locations around my house to keep from walking back and forth.

For the money these inexpensive craft scissors perform well but are not perfect. I acquired them primarily for cut and trim work on the felt that I use for my crafts. They are well built but when cutting felt, the large pair would only cut using the the very ends of the blades. Conversely, the smaller pair would only cut using the very inner portion of the blades.

These scissors are lightweight and very strong. There are two scissors, one large and one small. The small ones are good for household and art-type things. The larger ones are good for larger projects. They do not stick together when used on sticky items, which is helpful so they don't get stuck. They are sharp, but only had them for a month so will see how long they last.

The ArtSkills Titanium coated scissors set I am reviewing came with 5" detail scissors and 8" project scissors. The handles are over-molded in rubber and give a really nice grip and feel. The fit and finish are very good. These scissors were hand finished, something I didn't expect at this price point. The bolt & nut that holds the 8" scissors together was well designed. They have a lock washer and can be adjusted. I don't see this loosening anytime soon! The fastener that holds the 5" detail scissors together is riveted, but ArtSkills left plenty of rivet material so if needed you can peen them snug later. I used the 8" ArtSkills scissors on some paper, thread, fabric, poster board, a chunk of foam core, cardboard and old leather belt. The blades stayed sharp and sliced thru cleanly and in a nice straight line. The 5" detail scissors cut well on paper, cardstock and construction paper and were small enough to make very tight circle cuts. The 5" pair did struggle cutting thru heavyweight paper and very soft material such as wool cloth. To test the non-stick feature, I glue two pieces of paper together with rubber cement and cut into strips with both scissors. Nothing stuck to the blades, and anything that did jus peeled right off. I highly recommend the ArtSkills 2 pair titanium coated craft scissors

Artskills titanium scissors are sharp and the packaging even has a tip to sharpen the blade by cutting sandpaper or aluminum foil. I used the large pair to cut the sleeves off of an old ragged sweatshirt. The scissors cut through 2 layers of sweatshirt material without any problem. The smaller scissors will be great for craft precision cutting and also handy for a sewing project.

I have had the ARTSKILLS NON-STICK TITANIUM-COATED CRAFT SCISSORS, PROJECT AND DETAIL SIZES (2-PIECES) for several weeks now. The large scissors are good for both left and right handed individuals, the grip is great and they both feel sturdy in your hand. Cuts with the large scissors are precise and they have been able to handle various weights of paper and materials. The small scissors at not so great for general cutting, but work great when cutting out details and smaller areas. Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend. Just wish it was made in the USA.

This pair of high quality scissors has come in handy in the kitchen. In addition to the standard use - cutting paper - I use the larger one to cut food. To make tasty croutons from common white bread, I put slices in the oven on warm until they firm up. Then I cut the slices into strips, and then into cubes, using the scissors. The little cubes come out with a better shape than cutting with a knife. I also use scissors on thin-cut pork for Pork Fried Rice. This works just as well on thin slices of breast-meat chicken.

I really like this package because the handles in the grips and the scissors are spot on. They’re very sharp and as you can see from the photos they can cut through a double cardboard with hardly any effort. I see little use with the small pair, but the large pair easily makes up for the difference. I rarely give five stars to any product made in China, I will say this one is definitely worth all five stars.
