When it comes to craft boards this is pretty decent quality. It is much smaller than anticipated but when you don't read the measurements what do you expect. I wouldn't recommend this for outdoor use as it doesn't seem to be treated for such. The board is one piece and the attached hoop limits how you can hang it. To create a custom sign, I opted to attach metal writing instead of painting but you could paint, stencil, or used adhesive decals. Decent quality but limited on it's uses.

This plaque is pretty cool looking. The plaque is 12 inches long and 51/2 inches wide. There are holes drilled in the top upper corners of the plaque and a small rope is attached to each end. The wood is very smooth and is stained a fruitwood color. My wife used her Cricut to print my daughters name on a vinyl type paper. The end result is that it looks very professional.

This dark wood frame im going to use for a door sign, i do like thats its thin and lightweight, i like the dark color look. I would give 5 stars but the description says white wash which it doesn't look like it has any white wash just looks to me like dark walnut color. The picture is accurate though.
I like the thin rope look give a rustic feel. I could make one of these but id recomend just buy because without the proper tools it would be dangerous to make one this thin so i do like that its not bulky.

This ArtSkills barnwood plank sign is a fun and affordable way to add to your decor.
It is designed to be hung sideways using the attached twine rope.
The wood is soft, probably pine, and the stain on it looks nice. Both the front and back side are stained by the way. Also it’s only about a quarter inch thick so it’s not very heavy at all.
There are many options on how to use this plank for decoration. It can be easily painted to add letters or you can glue premade letters onto it.
I recommend buying some of the ArtSkills pre-cut letters which are sold separately at Home Depot, and you could put whatever wording on the plank you choose then.

I have used the 'burnt wood' style for many years and have always been quite pleased with the finished project. As the picture will show, what was supposed to be the front of the board had a very uneven burnt finish. The opposite side had a nice even look so I decided to use the reverse for my small project. I just moved the hanger cord to the front. Project came out fine. For those who do not have the equipment to burn finish wood, these types of products are just fine.
