This rug has the most gorgeous rust colors while still having cool tones in the blueish gray prints. You can see from the pics with my couch, it really would match warm or cool tones in a room. It feels more like a nice soft thick woven fabric than a rug material. It is very thin notIn a cheap way but just as it does not have a non slip backing to it. The edges are curling up a bit and don’t last as flat as I’d like from us kicking into it so we are considering getting a pad to put beneath it as that should help it feel more secure but we have it anchored under our couch so it’s not going anywhere. This rug is so soft and beautiful it will be worth it regardless. With a pad underneath it will be a dream.

This area rug is from the Gilda Collection of Artistic Weavers. It is a 5' 3" by 7' 3" area rug with a distressed look and it has a pleasing oriental pattern with a rose background color. The rug is described as hand woven in Turkey of 100% chenille polyester. The rug has a very low (thin) pile and looks quite distressed (worn) as seems to be the trend now in the Fall of 2020. The rug was accurately described as having a distressed appearance.. Because of the low pile this rug needs to have a plush rug pad under it to hold it in place and to make it feel soft under foot, It has a nice oriental pattern that is why we selected it, but the distressed look may look a little too worn for some tastes. We like the pattern and the quality of this rug and would recommend it.

Well, the Surya Amelie Collection #2309 area rug is by far the nicest looking rug available in regards to the craftsmanship, quality, appearance, price value, as well as all the other coordinating items available to enhance the Surya line that they produce which I discovered includes lighting, and other items to incorporate into your particular setting for maximum results. I really like the Amelie for our room as it captures the bohemian look that we needed to blend with our furniture etc. The style is perfect.

This is a nice well-made rug for a good price. I have a sun-room/office with older worn leather furniture and a red tile floor. This run fits perfectly with the decor. The pattern is blended enough to look like an expensive heirloom with just the right amount of pattern and coloring.The nap is soft enough to walk on but durable enough to last. I like the fact that the back of the rug is soft and not stiff or hard like a lot of rugs.

This rug looks much better in person than it does in pictures. If this is your style you wouldn't be disappointed. It is on the thin side with no backing, so If it is going on hardwood or tile you might want some non-skid padding. The good part about it being thin is that if it is going close to a door that is going to swing over it, shouldn't rub the bottom of the door.
