A: I do not quite understand what you mean by visual effects. Our films are made to be applied to completely smooth and completely clean flat surfaces. We do not apply anything on top of our films.
A: 55 to 70 degrees
A: Yes, Artscape window films will work on any completely smooth, clean surface
A: Yes, the color does fade when exposed to sunlight. Ours stayed ok for two years in Arizona sun. Third year, not so much. Ours has not come loose or curled once applied.
A: I absolutely LOVE these clings. They go on so easily and stay on endlessly as long as you put them on your windows following the instructions given. They do not fade. Ocassonally some will begin to 'curl down'...but all you need to do is use the 'blade' to press it back into place. Or, pull down a tiny bit and moisten it and press in place again. So easy to do and so beautiful. I have these on over half of the windows in my home. It gives privacy without totally blocking out what's going on outside. I HIGHLY recommend them. There is such a nice variety of choices to look through. I love the privacy it gives me.
A: had mine up for 2 years in bright sun, slight fading only noticeable if new piece was held up to it, no curling or lifting of edges and i joined 4 of them for a large picture window
A: Item installed several years ago, no noticeable fading, corners will curl but is easily fixed by spraying with water and pressing back down, happened only on the over sized cuts
A: I've had it on my glass door for over 4 years now and it look like new. There has been no curling or peeling. I'm not sure if direct sunlight would fade it or affect it in a negative way because the door I have it on is very shaded and does not get a lot of sun.
A: Over time the sun will fade the color. Artscape recommends that you remove and replace the film every 2-4 years depending on how much sunlight the film is exposed to.
