Q:Would this be a good model to hear a yurt ?
      by|Nov 24, 2023
      1 Answer
      Answer This Question

A:  No, this model is much to large to install in a yurt. It's intended to heat 3,200 sq. ft. You may want to look in to a smaller stove that is approved for a yurt installation.

          Hot or not
I have this stove in the walkout basement. After I figured out I was using the vents backwards performance was much better. Easy to control and load. Heats my 2000 sq home well.

            Bang for the buck
I've only had ours up and running for a week now, but so far so good. A great looking stove that puts out the heat for sure. (The (2) vent levers under the door seem stuck 'open'.., which is fine, I haven't bothered to call for support so I can't speak on customer service yet). I like the clean-out door in the floor of the box, it keeps the ash dust to a minimum during clean-up. Blower works fine but we hardly need to use it. So far a really great stove for the price..

happy and well worth the money
I am happy with the stove heated my house for the last 3 years with no furnace when first got stove had smoke problems when first starting stove But realize the stove wasn't the problem if the chimney is up high sometimes it is hard to get heat to go up the chimney the home is normally warmer than the chimney till the smoke wants to go to the warmest spot I have found that is you take a soup can and take a small rag put in can take a little of tiki oil about a capful put it on rag put in stove light it and close door Let It Burn that will allow heat to go up your chimney and it does not smoke I love this stove it has kept me in my family warm through the winter months this stove is kind of finicky once you figure the stove out you'll be very happy with the stove
