Asked by Mary July 1, 2017Thank you for your question, yes this shower door is completely reversible so you can have it open from the right or the left. This shower door also does not have any sort of track, what you probably see on the opening side is called the shower door threshold and it's main purpose is to help provide support to the fixed panel and also keep water from escaping out of the shower. Can this be cut down to 40"?

A metal piece with screw hole that will hold glass in a cabinet door?
