Don't buy anything from Atlantic Furniture. I ordered this thing a month ago, received it and found one of the side panels had holes drilled incorrectly. It took a week to get a hold of customer service and process the whole claim. They were nice and helpful which was a plus! However, after waiting to process a replacement panel, they sent me the wrong color! (Which took another week!) Now, I am waiting again to see if they can send the right one this time. Their company obviously have no quality assurance inspection processes in place. I've been waiting a month to put this together for company and now I have to wait another two weeks to process this all over again and get the right color out this time. What a HUGE PAIN. Don't buy from this incompetent company.

I was pleasantly surprised with how well this furniture piece was made. It's solid and beautiful, and the included mattress is actually quite comfortable. The instructions were easy to follow. All 3 boxes came shrink wrapped on a pallet - EXTREMELY heavy

This was exactly what we needed! We live in a small house with no spare bedroom and needed a solution for when guests come. I really liked the idea of a cabinet murphy bed since this would be going in our living room and I didn't want to lose an entire wall to a traditional murphy bed. Installation was fairly easy. While I probably could have done it on my own, it was handy to have another person able to help. It took less than two hours from popping the box to completion. The drawer is great for storing the blankets and sheets and there was extra space to keep four pillows in with the mattress! Our first guest was our house/pet sitter and after sleeping on it for a week she said it was super comfy! We are considering getting another folding mattress or mattress topper since this one is only 4" thick and I imagine it won't be quite enough for larger adults, but really, we are very happy with this purchase.

Easy to put together, but was on the heavy side. Much more substantial than I thought it would be for the price. I priced a ton of other murphy beds and for the quality this was almost half the price of other beds in its class, and looks good too I think.

This bed was the perfect solution to accommodate guests staying over the holidays. I converted an exercise room into a guest room for the stay. Assembly was easy, all parts fit together with no issues.
Cons:
There was a slight paint odor which lasted for several days, Luckily I received it a week before guests arrived.
The sides extend out quite a bit on each side in the head area and would be better if they folded back like the top does.

We had the product delivered to the Home Depot and picked it up ourselves. The item was very easy to assemble and the mattress is very comfortable. I would recommend this item. It is a very beautiful piece of furniture too. You would never think there was a bed inside of it.

Product has nice appearance and function. The shipper only delivered the product to the bottom of our stairs, leaving us to carry the very heavy boxes. It would be a better idea to package this product in multiple lighter weight boxes.
