Product Overview

A dense, pyramidal tree when young, becoming broad, flat-topped, short trunked with age. Needles are in pairs and glossy dark green. Plant in full sun and any soil. Austrian Pine is the most tolerant of the pine for poor, dry, alkaline, or clay soils. Very hardy in hardiness zones 3 - 7. This container grown tree is a great starter plant size.
  • Healthy 2-year old plants are 8 to 12 in. tall
  • Provides beautiful winter color interest when deciduous trees are bare

Absolutely Love my Austrian pine. I decided to leave it...
Absolutely Love my Austrian pine. I decided to leave it in the house and let it grow over Winter. I have definitely enjoyed watching it grow and being able to baby it. And look forward to planning it in the Spring. It arrived quickly and is very healthy and I am very happy.
