Will dull the carbide quickly but will cut through it. Be aware of the pieces of metal flying red hot. Wear eye protection as a minimum

Will cut through it but will dull rather quickly and a lot of dust. Buy a special blade meant to cut through Hardie Board Cement siding.

The width profile prevented clogging and the battery life was extended due the blade not binding up. Used as cut off and cross cutting in newly cured deck boards with no issues.

I found this to be a most excellent product, exactly as advertised it does in fact have 18 teeth perfectly spaced teeth, unlike my uncle Walt who only has seven. The circular saw blade is exactly seven and one quarter inches in diameter, no metric conversion kit needed! Best of all however is the striking blue paint scheme which adds a professional look to any woodworking project whether utilizing solid frame lumber or plywood. It is truly inspirational and encourages the builder to rise up to meet the lofty expectations of a true craftsman.

A bargain-price and probably a useful item --- although I have not used it yet. I am looking at the package that I bought yesterday and it DOES NOT mention carbide anywhere. The other brands on the wall are correctly identified as carbide --- as appropriate. I wonder if this item truly has carbide cutting tips ??? (yes... I have verified the proper SKU number) ALSO --- the enlarged photo of the blade also does NOT mention carbide. This is puzzling.

My current saw is a hand me down and the first saw that I have ever used... In comparison to my old blade, these are awesome... Being that I haven't used many other blades, I do not have much comparison but it has worked great to cut the wood for my backyard deck and to make shelves in my garage...

Unfortunately, I had to to return it because the shank was too small for my Makita 18Volt 5.5" saw. I was excited to find a 24 tooth blade, but didn't pay attention to the shank size....oops.

It worked well with the first several sheets of plywood I cut but then dulled very quickly, forcing me to purchase a new blade just to finished the project I bought it for. This time I purchased a DEWALT carbide tipped blade. I will never purchase another Avanti blade.

The blade cuts fine, but it does splinter the wood still as if it were a dull blade. I’m thinking the old Ryobi doesn’t have enough RPM’s to prevent the splintering. I would recommend the blade though.
