      A:  Hi Debby, Thanks for visiting our site! Yes, these are the smaller hooks for pegboard holes that are smaller than quarter inch. The wire size on these hooks is .148 inch, where quarter inch size is .250 inch. Thank you for asking, -Travis

            First off these fit 1/8" and 1/4" pegboard, they are not the heavy duty 1/4" I knew this going in...
            First off these fit 1/8" and 1/4" pegboard, they are not the heavy duty 1/4" I knew this going in, I have both sizes in my shop. If you expect to hang heavy stuff out towards the ends I would not get these, but they were perfect for my use. I layer many things on them and putting the heavier large clamps at the base, it works great. I bought the 8" because I figured I could cut and bend up the ends if I needed shorter, you do cut off the round knobby tip. But I am finding I have not cut a single on yet, I will use shorter ones the closer I get to the workbench top. I started out buying the ones at another lower cost big box store and it costs way too much 3 at a time. This was so much more economical, way more economical in fact. I used "ship to home" and it took 8 days for them to get to the store, which was just fine with me.
