Good lighting
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this item for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I use it to illuminate my griddle. That way I don't have to use the overhead lights. It works really well. Being LED lights, they will last very long time. You can bend them to shine whatever direction you want. I would think an auto mechanic could make good use of them. You use them just about anywhere that's metallic. The magnetic bases stick well.

These BBQ Grill Lights are small but bright, and the light beam is focusable from a spot to a fan of light that will light up most of the grill surface. The magnetic base attaches to any steel component of the grill, upright, sideways, or upside down! The light is mounted at the end of a very flexible but easily posable helical metal stalk. Each light requires 3 AAA batteries that are not included. The grill lights do not appear to be waterproof so they probably cannot stay outside with the grill. There are no instructions included so there is no information about the power port on the side of the battery compartment. The lights come with a plastic enclosure with snap latches to close.

Great BBQ grill lights!
At about $15 each (2 in the set) these lights are a great buy. They each take 3 AAA batteries (not included) and come in a wonderful little plastic storage box.
The light can be low or high and even strobe, although I'm not sure why you'd use the strobe. The amount of light on high is terrific. We have a large grill and found we didn't need to use both lights to be able to see, but it's good to have that option.
The magnet is very strong.
The goose neck lets you put the light at any angle.

BBQ Dragon Magnetic LED BBQ Light Set with Portable Aluminum Body - (Pack of 2) – These are great grill lights especially during the winter when the sun sets at 4:30 p.m. The LEDs are pretty bright and with the magnetic base and the flexible gooseneck I can shine the light exactly where I need it.
There are high and low light levels but also a strobe mode for reasons I can’t think of.
Besides lighting up grill surfaces, these are great compact work lights. They stick to any metallic surface at any angle or can stand on non-metallic surfaces and focused on the work area.
Each light takes three AAA alkaline batteries or, rechargeable batteries with a charging port on the side of the light.

The Magnetic LED BBQ Light Set with Portable Aluminum Body - (Pack of 2) by BBQ Dragon are indeed a handy set of lights in their own carry case. Their use goes far beyond the grill, with the magnetic base you can use them anywhere you have metal to stick them to. Working on the car, working on your lawnmower, we even used them the other day working on some old cast iron pipe to see by, in the crawl space. Stick it to the cast iron, swivel the head around so you can see where to cut. They have the different light settings including the strobe, for if you are out taking a walk after dark. They have a slide sleeve to give you pinpoint precision to a gentle flood light. No complaints here, good job, keep it up.

Innovative, Adjustable, Enlightening. These Dragon bbq Magnetic LED Grill light set two pack are the needed accessory for night time grilling and bbq. There aluminum body makes them lightweight whole the strong magnets on their base keeps them fast in place. The light had can be angled to bend over or around life and handle for directing to cook surface. The dual options of power from 6 AAA batteries or a Lithium in power cell and even has a charge port though a charge cable is not included. The beam can be broadened or narrowed by sliding the head of the light to cover you cook surface as needed. The quality of the O- rings and charge port cover are extremely flimsy and may not last long. The case is a good design and the cushioned interior will keep the lights in place but it is also made of a non durable plastic and may fall to keep our moisture off left outside for extended periods. I like the design and functions of these lights and think you will to of you are the grill master or as a gift to one.

These small, powerful lights are just the answer I have been looking for for barbecuing during the winter months, when the sun seems to set long before dinner time. My grill is located in a place in my backyard that even if I turn on the backyard lights I can barely see what I am grilling this time of year. I simply attached one of them to the side of my BBQ’s hood using its magnetic base and I have plenty of light to grill by! They are tough and all metal (except for the cover of the on/off button) and the light body doesn’t get too hot attached to the BBQ, and the flexible gooseneck makes it a snap to adjust the light to exactly where you want it. I honestly only use it on the high mode on my BBQ, with a wide beam, but I can see these lights being useful for a number of other purposes. The only drawback is that if the light is not magnetically attached to something, it can become top heavy and will not stay upright if you don’t set the gooseneck just right. The case that hold the two lights is small and portable and I can see it being useful in an RV or camping. I recommend these as a gift for yourself or anyone who grills; you never know how much you needed them until you actually have them and I wish I had them years ago!

Nice light with magnetic base. Two lights in the plastic padded case to allow light to shine from two direction on the BBQ grill. This is very handy to have when grilling after dark if you don't have overhead lights on your deck. The magnets are strong and I actually tried fastening one to a screw head and it seemed to stay put (see photo). You need to supply 3 AAA batteries per light. There are no instructions except for the label on the box. It will work with rechargeable batteries and a tiny charging port is on the side of the case. There are 3 modes of light: dim, bright, and flashing. Don't know why flashing unless you are walking at night and want cars to see you. I will probably use these lights more in woodworking shop than on the grill. I will set one near miter saw and one on band saw to help me see my cut lines better. There are 2 plastic tubes in the package, but I don't know why they are there - maybe spacers to prevent damage during shipping, because they don't fit on the lights and no instructions. These require an iron based metal. Won't stick to aluminum.

BBQ Dragon magnetic LED BBQ set with portable aluminum body, pack of 2 is a stunning set. The case made for a well-protected holder and upon opening it, showed beautifully made products. These looked very expensive. The magnets are powerful and will hold onto metal very well. It took awhile to figure out the need for batteries but I finally saw that direction. I would definitely recommend this item.

I have been grilling for the past 31 years, even in the winter months. Unfortunately it gets dark earlier this time of year making it tough to watch what I am cooking. These lights solve that problem very nicely. They each use 3 AAA batteries ( not included), and give off bright lighting. The magnetic base keeps them in place, and the light flexes so you can direct the light onto the right spot on the grill.
Comes in a nice protective case which fits nicely under my grill.
