Great pump; Bad Flaw! Shaft wore thru in 4Mths
We got a 900GPH pump this time + the 5 filter kit to assist with water cleaning. It worked great! Loved the flow & how clean the pond was. At 4 mths it died. The shaft wore thru, and Magnetic Axle ate thru the plastic, water now in pump and burnt it up.

I got this to replace my previous DP1200 which lasted about 7 years before the impeller quit work...
I got this to replace my previous DP1200 which lasted about 7 years before the impeller quit working properly and the parts for the impeller were too expensive and too hard to find. The DP1200 was always a bit more powerful than I needed for my waterfall pond, so that is why I went with this slightly smaller version. I think these pumps are a bit expensive, especially since the impellers can be unreliable and break easily in these pumps. I don’t run this 24/7, so that is probably why my previous pump lasted as long as it did. It pumps well so far, but Beckett should make the impellers more reliable, cheaper to replace, and easier to obtain than what they do. At least these do come with a 2 year warranty.
