Very Yellow Finish Ruined my project
See the attached image. All the same wood. The wood in the background is the raw wood. The small sample is a Miniwax water based poly. The big yellow sample is this product. It is frustrating that they are selling this dishonest product.

Crap
This isn't crystal clear. It has a tint to it and changes the color of your white cabinets to an off white. Garbage

Hi Grant, thank you for your review. I'm so sorry to hear your finish did not turn out as expected and that your cabinets look off-white. That is not typical, and I can understand your disappointment. To fix the issue, I recommend cleaning the surface with water and a mild detergent to remove the white color. If that does not work, it's best to remove and reapply the coating. In that case, I recommend lightly sanding the affected area using 150-200 grit sandpaper. Nice finish, but alters wood color
This finish is very easy to apply. Dries fast and is easy to clean up with water. I used it to finish some lauan closet doors. You can see that the unfinished wood is substantially lighter, especially for the more reddish door. I'm not sure if this is a characteristic of lauan wood or if the finish would darken other woods as well. Still I am pleased with the product.

Not a smooth finish
Decided to give Behr polyurethane a try since the brand I wanted was out of stock, and now I regret it. I used this on my cabinets and it dried giving my paint a weird cracked look. Not happy with this at all. I have used minwax and varathane brands with no problems.

Leaves Yellow/Amber residue
I purchase this from my local home depot after recommendation. I am refinishing a piece, and had painted some areas pure white and wanted to make it easier to clean. It looks like a milky white so I thought it would be okay, and put on a thin layer. When I went back to the garage the next day, the areas that had the top coat were yellowed, and the poly that had dried in the paint tray was amber. This will NOT dry clear. It would be fine over dark colours and wood grain, but not over white.

To fix it, I recommend removing the polyurethane by sanding or using a conventional paint stripper. Then touch up the paint if needed before reapplying the polyurethane following the spread rate on the label. Good stuff in this can!
I used this for a tabletop topcoat. Applied 4 coats using a 4inch foam roller. No issues at all. Smooth, Low sheen and slick. Not sure what the complaints are about.
