Hi jerstep, thanks for writing in with your question. Unfortunately, our Roof Paint is not recommended on flooring. You'll want to use our Wood Stains or Porch and Patio Floor Paint instead. Have a great day! -Giovanna
Hello MARY, thank you for your question. Our Multi-Surface Roof Paint can be used on roof metals. However, it can only be applied over water-based paints or stains. So, before coating over your oil-based painted metal roof, we would recommend priming first with our Multi-Surface Primer & Sealer No. 436. Hope this info helps. Happy coating, and best of luck with your project! -Joanna

Hello Nebbie, Thanks for taking the time to write in. No, the Behr Multi-Surface Roof Paint doesn’t have priming benefits included. For metal, asphalt and wood surfaces apply a product such as Behr Premium Plus No. 436 Multi-Surface Primer & Sealer. For further assistance, please feel free to reach out directly to our customer care team. We’d love to help! Best, Roxana N.
Hi David, the Multi-Surface Roof Paint can be sprayed using an airless sprayer. However, we do not recommend thinning it. It's best to use it at the consistency in the can. -Takhari
you would be better off with felt and roll roofing (if properly applied) for a cheap quick fix till you save some money for a real roof. This could last 5 years or more if properly applied. also new tarps with enough 1x4 (running from top to bottom spaced 4' or 5' apart with stapled tin caps in between to hold it down. Use a good duct tape to seal any holes in tarp and over tin caps. you have to check the tarp for holes regularly and tape them up. you could also think about 2 layers of tarp or a layer of felt paper than a tarp.
yes it will, using this paint will seal those granules at least for a few years
Yes, this product can be sprayed onto a new metal roof, however priming is recommended first.
Hi Jesse, Thanks for your question! We recommend applying this paint with a high-quality airless sprayer with a .015" -.021" sprayer tip and 60 mesh filter. Best wishes! - Sara
