you got the master mold wrong
Home depot have now replaced the original wdge trimer with their own version made by Behr. The line is too far away from the edge.

        Pad dislodges from holder
I’ve been using a different brand of edge painter for years without any issues. Thought I’d try behr brand, and had issues during first use. Works great when it’s working, but even though the pad was properly clicked into position, it came dislodged repeatedly while in use. This means you have to stop painting, get fingers all painty to remove and reposition the pad until it clicks back into place and then resume the project. I will go back to a different brand. Would not recommend this brand.

          This is a must have!
I moved into a new build more than a year ago and have been procrastinating painting the drab white walls, primarily because it takes so long to tape and paint the edges of the ceiling and baseboards. I decided to order this Behr Edger Painter to see if it could make the task a little easier and I would have to say it was the answer to my prayers! This edger is approximately 3.5” x 5” and includes one paint pad. If I could suggest one improvement it would be to increase the size of the handle, it is a bit small. The edger is easy to use but there are a few tips to using it. First you should only dip the edger in the paint tray just enough to cover the pad, do not over saturate the pad and do not get paint in the wheels that run along the ceiling. The second thing is you should try to move the pad gliding the wheels (at the top), applying the same amount of light pressure evenly along the top of the wall. You can start at the right or left corner and work to the middle or from the middle out to the right and then to the left. The pad is reusable and can be washed with soap and water. I would suggest using a new pad if the bristles are hardened anywhere on the pad or if any areas are saturated with old paint because the pad will not glide as easily. I highly recommend a paint edger when you are painting walls with baseboards, moldings, window edges or painting a wall with a different colored ceiling. This Behr edger creates a perfectly straight line and cuts your paint time by at least a third.

          Didn't really work for us
We were hoping that this would be able to get paint on a wall without getting paint on the other edge while getting the paint up to the edge. We did like the pad, it spreads the paint very well and washes out well. You can purchase new pads when necessary. However when we were trying to paint up against a wall, the edger only got up to about 1/16 of the edge, leaving a bare line. Since we would have to use another means to cover up the 1/16, it defeats the purpose of the pad.

          It's a time saver
I am trying this paint Edger out. It's sure making my work alot easier. I am painting some planter boxes. . Even thought there is a rough texter on the planter box. I am still able to get a good coat of paint. There is a learn curve on this . But it's not that big of a deal to understand. And that will be on how much paint to load on the bottom brush. And last of all. This cleans up, easy as well. Nothing like cleaning up the paint brush.

          Edge Painter
Another tool to add to my painting toolbox of rollers and brushes. This will save prep time for masking all the moldings and anything else that is straight you don't want to get paint on. May as well use Behr tools when using their paint products. Float the BEHR Edger Painter in the paint, remove excess, place it on the wall, follow along with molding, and don't get paint on the wheels.

Great for getting a straight edge
I’ve never been good at painting the edge of a wall along the ceiling. I’ve tried taping which is difficult to apply tape to the ceiling. I’ve tried just using a steady hand and good brush to get a straight edge. My hand is t that steady. This works great. One word of caution: any unevenness along the Sheetrock will be picked up by the wheels. Overall this does a great job.

          Easy Glide
I tested the Behr Edger Painter with water because I have a painting project coming up later that I'm going to use it on. The key is not to overload the pad, and to use slow, steady strokes. Sometimes it can be helpful to apply a second sweep which helps push liquid into the edges. It works best where there's a flat surface for the wheels to glide on, such as a ceiling or the corner of two adjoining walls, or up against windows and doors but less useful along a baseboard or tight spaces. So it doesn't completely replace the brush for me, but it is a good time-saver and useful for creating that border between the walls and ceiling so that the roller doesn't hit the ceiling when you paint.

          Edger with wheels
We bought a house a couple of months ago and remodeled and repainted whole inside, I used only Behr paints and came out awesome. So was hands down when I seen this edging pad I knew I needed for the sunroom, have like 12 windows and lots of windows, ceiling, floor trim to do. What I like is the wheels so you can glide on trim to paint only the wall and not my painted trim, and the pads will get right to the edge of wall and trim for a nice clean line. I have to wait for our flooring on back order to come in, supposedly will be here 1st week of October and if not will need to change color of floor and my wall paint too that’s why I haven’t painted just yet. Behr has always made great quality paints and didn’t think twice about getting Behr products to help make painting easier and cleaner lines, so can’t wait till my other supplies get here to get sunroom done before winter. I will always recommend Behr paints to anyone, just my preference and never they’ve never let me down.

          Very nice
I got this one for my house, but I use these at work and they work perfectly… they make painting the edges so simple. Once you get the hang of it , it’s amazing how fast you can paint the edges. It’s actually very well made ,especially since you only doing the edges. The price is very reasonable and also the replacement pads. I definitely recommend grabbing this handy tool. Just watch a couple of videos to get a feel for using it.
