We've raised the bar (again) on exterior paint. BEHR DYNASTY Exterior Paint delivers unparalleled 10-Year Color Fade Protection*. Designed to withstand challenging UV conditions, it will keep your colors and exterior surfaces looking their absolute best for longer than Behr Paint has ever delivered before. BEHR DYNASTY Exterior Paint lets you paint when you want, no matter the season, with early rain resistance and low temperature application. Our advanced formula keeps your new paint job protected from rain as early as 60 minutes after application. Plus, you can apply BEHR DYNASTY Exterior Paint in temperatures as low as 35°F and up to 90°F. Valid only when tinted to colors from the BEHR DYNASTY specially curated Exterior Color Fade Protection Palette. Based on predictive lab testing with a color shift less than Delta E of 5 as measured by CieLAB. A primer coat may be needed. can it be used on stained wood
Hi Richard, thank you for reaching out with your question. Yes, our Dynasty Exterior Semi-Gloss Paint can be applied over a previously coated stained surface. Before coating the surface, I recommend lightly scuff-sanding it with medium-grit sandpaper to increase adhesion. Afterward, clean the surface and let it dry before applying your new coating. Our house has T1-11 wood siding in a sunny, coastal area with humid, salty air. Temps range from 32 to 80 degrees. Would you recommend Dynasty or Marquee for this application?

As it turns out, we do not recommend applying our products outside of their recommended temperature ranges, as that can cause the coating to bubble, peel, and/or fail. Is this paint good to use on wood deck
