Answer This Question

A:  Hi BLT23, thanks for your question. Yes, you can absolutely use our Marquee Exteior paint on vinyl siding. Keep in mind that it's best to choose a color that is lighter than or similar to the current color of your siding to ensure the vinyl does not warp. Have a great day! -Christina

Q:I am using Behr Concrete & Garage 1 part Epoxy Coating (Tan PFC-23) on the flat part of my back concrete porch. It was recommended that I use Behr Marquee Exterior Enamel on the 18" vertical concrete face of the porch. Will I be able to match the colors

Q:Is Behr Marquee Ultra Pure White Enamel Exterior Paint & Primer the best paint to use on new bare wood fascia boards in the intense Phoenix, AZ sun and heat? If so, which sheen would be best? If not, which paint would be better?
      by|Feb 26, 2023

      Answer This Question

A:  Our Marquee Exterior Paint would be the best paint to use on the fascia boards to help protect against the sun and heat. I'd recommend using the semi-gloss sheen, as the higher one will offer more protection. Have a great day! -Ronald

Q:Can I use this paint on mobile home wall panels?

        Answer This Question

A:  Hi Reggie, thanks for the question. Depending on the type of surface of the walls, the Premium Plus Paint can be used. If the wall panels are a laminate surface and can't be scuff sanded, I'd recommend priming the walls first with our Bonding Primer. It's designed to adhere to smooth glossy surfaces without having to sand them first. Have a great day! -Ronald

          Pretty good paint I think
Okay paint so far, time will really tell. Very expensive, but when you need that little bit of extra longevity, I guess it can be worth the extra expense to save time and money in the future.

          1-gallon can failure
These new 1-gallon plastic containers don't have a good seal, and the paint immediately starts to form a film inside the can, which comes out in clumps and lumps, especially in the bottom half of the can. As you paint, you have to remove dried clumps, which is really frustrating. The "easy to use lid and pour spout" is supposed to help you pour more neatly, but air still gets in around the edges. For more than $60, I would expect a decent can to store the paint in.
          Response from BehrSep 20, 2022
Hi Nathan, thanks for your review. I'm sorry to hear about the clumps and lumps in the container you used. To fix this, I recommend stirring the paint for 5-7 minutes to resolve the clumps. And if there are dried clumps on your project, you can sand these smooth, clean off the sanding dust, and touch up if needed. Customer satisfaction is very important to us, so feel free to reach out to our Customer Care team directly for further assistance. They are always happy to help. Hi there, thank you for your review. Sorry to hear that you had an issue with the paint adhering and that the paint didn't cover as expected. Our Marquee paint should cover in one coat when tinted to one of the one-coat colors and applied over a previously painted surface. Please feel free to reach out to us directly so we can learn more about the paint not adhering and assist. Customer satisfaction is important to us, and we appreciate your feedback. Behr Marquee Satin in Pencil Point is beautiful!
We used this paint in our dining room and are in love with the result. It softly reflects light, it's rich, it's durable and it looks fabulous against gold frames with art. This is the worst product on the market.
It fails to cover. I don’t care what other people are saying, we tried to use it just to paint normal drywall, it does not cover. We have done three coats and still needed to go out and buy another paint and go over it one more time. Do not trust the reviews. They are written by people who don’t know what they’re talking about or wrote the reviews prior to actually using the product. You’d be surprised how many times people do that.

Hello, thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear about the poor coverage. Typically, our Premium Plus Paint will cover in two coats, while darker colors and porous surfaces may require additional coats. From a contractor: Hands down one of the best exterior paints available JeffsPaintingElmhurst
This paint covers real well. Even the light colors never more than 2 coats needed. Benjamin Moore Moorguard is comparable, almost twice the cost. I hate the plastic cans though - they do not reseal and there’s money down the drain.

                  Worst paint I've ever used
Bought this paint as it is advertised as their best product and covers in one coat. I spent days preping my room for painting for this paint to ruin the wall in 3 minutes. I cut in the corners and ceiling with a brush and proceeded to roll the wall only for all the paint to clump together and create a mess on the wall. The paint drys so quickly that you don't even have time to put more paint on the roller before it begins to stick and pull it off the wall. I would not recommend this to anyone.

This is not the experience we want for our customers, and I understand your disappointment. To slow down the dry time, you are able to add 4 oz. of water per gallon.
