The Behr Dynasty paint RUNS and so should you!
I've been using Behr paint for many years. Thought I'd give the dynasty a try. Half way through the 2nd wall, I turned to look at the 1st wall and the paint was running and sliding down the wall! Now I'll have to let it dry and sand to start over. Run!
Response from BehrOct 12, 2021
Hi Laura, thank you for writing in. I'm so sorry to hear our Dynasty Eggshell was running and sliding down your wall. It's important to lightly saturate your application tool, using a 3/8 - 1/2" synthetic nap roller or a high-quality nylon/polyester brush. For any excess product while the coating is still wet, immediately brush or roll it out to distribute the paint evenly. Please feel free to reach out to us directly so we can learn more about your project and assist. We look forward to hearing from you. -Michael Behr
    Returned to store for refund
I am reviewing Behr Ultra Scuff Defense in Crisp Linen in eggshell. I worried there were going to be issues with this paint the minute I started to cut in at the baseboard. I’d apply some paint and then, when I moved to another section and tried to feather it into the edge of the first section, the first paint acted like it had already dried and was pulling into streaks and furrows. And so on down the baseboard. When I started to use a roller, it continued to streak and furrow and clump. My wall looks textured at this point. The paint was applied over Kilz primer which was perfectly smooth and dry. This was probably the 25th room I’ve painted in my life so I’m not new to painting. I cut my losses short and went back to Home Depot. The clerk suggested adding Floetrel to the paint; why should I buy a can of paint that I’m using under ordinary conditions to which I then have to add Floetrel? I am now faced with waiting for the paint to thoroughly dry so I can hopefully sand it smooth to start over again. This time, I will use Benjamin Moore paint. The only reason I gave the Behr paint a try is that my local BM provider is closed on Sunday.

Hi NA3905 - Thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear that the paint dried too fast, causing streaks and clumps on your walls! To fix the finish, I recommend lightly sanding down the unwanted texture, wiping the area clean to move the sanding dust, then reapplying the paint when the air and surface temperatures are within the recommend range on the label. If the paint continues to dry too quickly, up to 4 ounces of water per gallon can be added to slow the dry time down and allow the paint to level out. For further assistance with your project, please feel free to reach out to us directly. We'd be happy to help. - Sara Behr
      Not worth the money!
purchased 4 gallons to repaint bathroom that was previously painted a lighter color. Wanted to use same paint/color for attached bedroom and wanted a once and done. Not! Needed to hit the bathroom with 2 coats for consistency in color. Don't know what I'm gonna do with the other 3 gallons but I'm not using it for the much bigger bedroom. Very unhappy with quality. I've used Behr before in my kitchen and bath with no issues. Would not use this again.

        Behr Marquee
Remodeling my bathroom and decided to use Behr Marquee because we wanted a good paint. 2 coats later you can still see the other color slightly under 2 coats of this stuff. Not just one coat but two coats! I will never buy Behr Marquee again.

Shiny! Great appearance on a high traffic door. Quick, easy application.
The bedroom door takes more abuse than any door in the household. I come and go with cat food, while they paw at the door. I hand carry water to the shower, spilling it whilst turning the door handle. The frames were never painted well, not only are they dirty but chipped. The door also has the moniker as the worst bedroom door and lock ever. it had to be kicked in once. One coat covered stains, prints and nicks in the door, while the cat pawed the other side ready to pounce on the newly painted door. The paint dried quickly. The frame truly needs a 2nd coat, but I don't believe they used primer to paint it the first time. Excellent coverage, easy to use. It sits across from a door I painted with an eggshell paint, the semi-gloss is more practical for a high traffic door. As a non-smoker, having lived in a household with a smoker, the white clean appearance of the Marquee Linen is exactly what I wanted.

Behr Marquee - My Go To Paint
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I started painting three years ago, I have always chosen Behr Marguee Interior Satin because it gives the sheen I want without looking like flat paint. It is also easy to wash. Yhe colors don't fade. I did use enamel in my kitchen though. I love being able to take a pillow, towel or wallpaper sample and have the paint mixed to match. I am able to get the small sample to try and then I go back to purchase the gallon. Yet there are still a massive number of colors if I want to choose from the palette. Paint glides on whether you are using a brush or roller. Easy clean up, just wash with water. Brushes or rollers are clean, and so are my hands. Bring on my next project I'm ready to use my favorite Bher Marquee Interior Satin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We finished our basement with a light gray paint. An eight inch window ledge was painted. A couple small dried fern leaves landed on the ledge from a nearby plant. In an attempt to brush the leaves into my hand, the leaves left a smear on the paint. To my surprise, the smear would not remove with water. I had to repaint. Really? This paint just sucked in the smear and wouldn’t clean off with a wet rag; not sure I’d use this paint again as I don’t think it will hold up to normal wear and tear.

Hi CarrieRM, thanks for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear you weren’t able to clean the leave stain off your window ledge and had to repaint it.

We’d normally recommend using a gentle degreasing dishwashing soap and warm water solution to clean your surface. If any marks are still visible after cleaning, a touch-up may be needed.

Customer satisfaction is important to us. So, we’ve reached out to you directly to assist you further. We hope you have a great rest of your weekend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this for our kitchen cabinets which were a golden oak, and it covered in one coat. We were very happy with this product.
