Do you need to add a conditioner to reduce brush marks?

Hi there, This actually levels out fine if you use a good quality brush and don't brush over your work numerous times while painting. Thin coats are best, and be sure to wait for it to dry if a second coat is needed. Best- Travis

Hi novice, thank you for reaching out with your question. We appreciate your interest in our products. Yes, we recommend priming all surfaces before painting them with our Cabinet & Trim Paint. If you're current coating/surface is glossy, we would recommend scuff sanding it prior to cleaning it, allowing it to dry completely, and priming and painting it. We hope this information is helpful. How long after painting cabinet and doors can I install hardware and hang?
