Engineered for excellent adhesion to a variety of properly prepared or primed residential and light commercial metal surfaces. This paint may be used on window frames, whether metal or wood, no problem.
I need to repaint the metal lintels above my windows. After scraping off the loose paint. should I coat with rust converter prior to using this?

Do you have to use a primer if painting over existing paint

Will be using a pressure pot type sprayer. What is the thinning recommendations?
Hi Grouchy, thanks for reaching out with your question. As it turns out, we don’t recommend thinning our Direct-To-Metal Paint. Instead, we recommend using it at its packaged consistency. If thinned, it can affect the product's performance and overall longevity. I would also like to mention that when applying this coating, we recommend using a brush, roller, or an airless sprayer with a .013-.017 tip and a 60 mesh filter. Have a great day! -Angie
