Waste of Money
As others have said, terrible paint. Picture is of inside of cabinet with 1 primer coat and 2 coats of this stuff.

Worst paint
Primered panel doors, painted a coat, let it dry. Painted a second coat and the door looked exactly the same. After one coat the door looks like i never touched it. Shouldve stuck with the SW paint. Paint mixed at HD and mixed b4 use.

Reliable, easy to work with, and great value!
Before starting a big project of repainting my old oak kitchen cabinets, I researched a lot about different paints. SW Emerald Urethane was a popular name that came up but was also expensive (according to most people, worth the price tag). However I had previously used Behr Alkyd Enamel in Semi-Gloss to paint brown shutters white and had great success. I decided to go with Behr Alkyd Enamel in Satin (French Silver) for my cabinets and Behr once again was a champ! Super happy with the results!

Excellent paint
This paint is great quality. It covers well and is durable. It dries to a smooth finish with a brush and foam roller. I did add some water to allow it to smooth out better. It is slightly tacky after 12 hours still but after a few days it dries to a hard durable finish. The photos are 3 coats on radiata pine cabinet grade plywood from Home Depot. The wood was primed then sanded with 150 grit. Paint was rolled with a 4" foam roller.

Buyer Beware
Bought this to refinish my solid maple bead board cabinets which needed a facelift. However, this paint was the worse. The paint didn’t lay flat and left a textured orange peel on my cabinets. We’re experienced painters and cabinets were prepped appropriately, used appropriate sprayer tip and sanded in-between coats. $25,000 kitchen cabinets are ruined unless I strip and redo them with a different product. Never seen this happen before with paint.

Did the job
Not a beginner painter. Used this paint to refinish a bathroom vanity and kitchen cabinets. They suggest not using a foam roller, tried both naps - the foam roller had the least blemishes. I used Kilz primer and sanded between coats. The cabinet doors were stripped with citristrip prior to sanding, priming x2 and painting. The doors had the best coverage with 2 coats. The base of the cabinet was sanded and primed twice then sanded and painted twice. The vanity base could use a third coat.

Excellent paint for wood kitchen cabinets!

BHER dry chamomile
