Hi Hugh, we recommend letting the Concrete & Garage 1-Part Epoxy dry for at least 7 days before driving on the surface. If you cannot give it this full time, you can lay down corrugated cardboard after about 72 hours to drive over the Epoxy. Have a great day! -Adelina

Garage Paint That Can’t Handle a Dining Room
I honestly do not understand how BEHR Paint Company can market this as a garage floor paint. I followed the instructions carefully — applied two coats, allowed more than 10 days of drying time, and used it in a low-traffic dining room as a test. Within hours of light use (just walking and a bit of dancing), the surface was already damaged, dirty, and clearly not durable. On top of that, the application caused a severe allergic reaction, which is completely unacceptable for a product meant for indoor use. If this product cannot withstand basic foot traffic in a dining room, there is no way it would hold up under a car in a garage. Extremely disappointing — poor durability and questionable safety. I would not recommend this product.

                    Terrible
I put down this 1 part garage floor paint in my carport over old paint. I pressure washer it first and removed any loose paint. It first bubbled up after 3 days when some rain water got on it. Then after 7 days I tried to hose some dirt off of it and I blew spots of paint off ??? After 7 days of drying this couldn't take a water hose ? Terrible stuff ! What a loss of time and money!

Hi DonP, thank you for reaching out. I'm terribly sorry to hear about your poor experience with our Concrete & Garage 1-Part Epoxy Coating. Your project's turnout is important to us, and we're here to help! The Epoxy should withstand moisture after 24 hours, so it's not typical for this to happen. To fix the carport, I recommend removing the loose coating before etching any bare concrete to encourage adhesion. Make sure the surface is clean and dry before applying our Concrete & Masonry Bonding Primer for the best adhesion. Then, touch up the spots and apply a thin coat if needed for uniformity. We want you to achieve success. Please reach out to us directly if you need further assistance; our Customer Care team is here to help! -Adelina Behr

                      Formulation is trash now
This stuff is absolute trash. At least the batch we got. We use it for the concrete slab of our warehouse and did impeccable prep work, completely grinding off the old coating, sweep, shop vac, pass with floor scrubber and water, ensure it’s dry, even coat with 3/8 nap roller. Waited for each coat to dry before cross crossing additional coats. Did 4 coats in total. Looks great but comes up with MASKING TAPE that’s only been down for like 10 seconds after 2 weeks of cure time. We did no thinning, product was properly stirred. Cannot believe how fragile this stuff is to lifting force. Chips right up. It’s also unbelievably thin. It’s opaque, but when it chips up it looks like it was one very opaque thin layer. Whatever is going on with the formulation it’s worthless for anything other than cosmetic purposes in low to no traffic areas. The wheels of a rolling desk with a wo op rip it right up. I’m so mad.

The quality paint is a durable and beautiful finish for floors. It holds up better than other floor and deck coatings that I have used. The paint does not have a strong odor.

                        Terrible Product!
You've got to be kidding me - we followed the instructions to a T - even watched videos to make sure there wasn't confusion. We even let it cure for two weeks. A piece of painters tape got stuck to it for less than 5 minutes and it ripped it right up. A joke of a product.

Hi Mouse, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I'm sorry to hear you're having a peeling issue. This is not how we expect our products to perform, and I understand your disappointment. To fix this, remove the loose coating, sand the edges smooth, and spot etch bare concrete with muriatic acid (the surface is supposed to feel like 150-grit). Additionally, you can spot prime with Behr Concrete & Masonry Bonding Primer (to help promote extra adhesion), touch up, and recoat if necessary. Customer satisfaction is important to us, and we appreciate your feedback. Please reach out to us directly for further assistance; we are always happy to help make this right. -Alex Behr

                              Poor coverage.
Bought this recently for concrete floor with a total of 180 sq.ft. Finish looks good. However the square footage on the can is not correct. I applied a normal coat with a ⅜” nap paint roller. According to the can: Spread Rate is 300-400 sq.ft for rough surfaces. Smooth 400-500 sq.ft. 100% inaccurate.
