1 gal. #PPU2-10 Heirloom Satin Enamel Exterior Paint & Primer

My problems arose when I did a reorder of this color in 1 gallon containers (from 2 previous orders of 5 gallons). I wanted to make sure the colors were spot on for touch up jobs so i reordered online from my account. Somehow the formula doesn't translate to the 1 gallon and it comes out too light. This happened twice so its not human error. Also, I wrote Behr.com about the issue and haven't heard from anyone.

I bought this paint in a ‘Thickened Cream’ color for my exterior trim, door, and garage door. The product has exceeded my expectations in every possible way. The texture of the paint was thick enough to be self-priming although for dry rot or distressed wood I did use a different product to seal and prime first. I put on two coats using a brush and a roller and found the coverage to be very good over both wood and metal. I bought extra paint thinking I would need more but the manufacturer specified coverage is accurate. I did not try it with a sprayer. The paint is not drippy at all and dried rapidly. I used to buy other brands but the extra cost for this paint is worth it. You could say I am now a ‘Behr-liever’.

Painted my fan on the lanai, older model. Love the color, went on easy. Gave it two coats to give it a solid look. Clean up with soap and water is great. Love Behr paints.

We painted our home in Leadville, CO back in 2005 with this Exterior Paint (5 Gallons). Fifteen (15) years later, I had to do some replacing of some wood paneling. I had a picture of the label so knew exactly what to purchase (Behr Premium Plus, Hampton Green, Satin Enamel Exterior). With the sun fade over time at 10,200 ft elevation, the color was exactly the same as before (see the photo). I know that it will last me another 15 years. Bought 3 gallons this time around. I would highly recommend this paint. A+++

Bought this to paint my art studio and thought it was a good cooor match for my siding but it actually looks like a light lime chiffon color. Its very nice just nit the prairie tone I was anticipating.

I used this for my ceilings and to repaint my bedroom furniture. All turned out beautiful!

Here I wanted to cover my first impression of Behr patio paints, i.e., three different paints. All have different color. Two different bases [before you read all below have to confess: I am a big fan of Behr paints, hard to find in my house any other type of paints] Back to the point. I have evaluated the following paints: - Premium PFC-33 Washed Khaki Textured Lustre Enamel Interior/Exterior Porch and Patio Anti-Slip Floor Paint - Premium PFC-68 Silver Gray Textured Low-Lustre Enamel Interior/Exterior Porch and Patio Anti-Slip Floor Paint - Premium plus S130-7 Cherry Cola exterior satin. My application is wooden deck. I applied all paints on a small area to see how they will look. All look good and holding great (at least for a few days). My family voted for Cherry Cola (we had something similar, but custom blend before). However, I made mistake (that you can use to learn) you better to order textured enamel – it feels much better for barefoot and according to claim (which I believe 100%) it provides anti-slip properties. Washed Khaki or Silver Gray colors are perfect color for fence. Silver gray will look good in your garage. Both PFC paints are much thicker then S130-7 and will require some effort to mix (though when fresh color was distributed perfectly!). On flat and horizontal surfaces it is pleasure to roll with thick paints where you can roll and distribute them evenly. Though, I have perception that thin paint will penetrate pores and “cracks” of either fresh of weathered wood better (and thus be bound and protect wood for longer time). All paints will require at least two layers to provide good and uniform coverage. Take that into consideration when ordering. PFC paints can cover more than S130-7 per claims on website (I guess that is again connected to lower penetration of PFCs into pores and cracks due higher thickness) Remember to use Behr’s All-In-One Wood and Deck Cleaner prior application for best long lasting performance. Anyway I can confidently recommend all paints (as I never was wrong by choosing Behr paints)!
