Q:I have a can with leftovers from 4 years ago and is a bit thick. I need to use it to retouch some scratches. Is it Ok to dilute it a bit with water or something else should be used instead?

    Answer This Question

A:  Hi there, thanks for the question. Typically, our paints have a shelf life of 2 years, but can last longer. We don't recommend thinning the Pro i300 paint before use, so it wouldn't be recommended to thin the product with water or anything else. If the paint is too thick to be used, I'd recommend getting a replacement container, Customer satisfaction is important to us, Please reach out to us directly if you need further assistance; our customer care team is happy to help you! -Ronald

Q:What type of heat resistant paint can be used for the inside of a fireplace

      Answer This Question

A:  Hi Sharon, thank you for your question. As it turns out, we do not have any heat-resistant products available. Our products are not designed or intended to be used on any surfaces that will be in direct contact with flames, get too hot to touch, or exceed 140 degrees Fahrenheit. It may be best to reach out to your local Home Depot for more information about a heat-resistant coating. -Lina

A very expensive mistake buying behr paint
Painted my livingroom with the "best" paint out there. Crazy expensive and very poor coverage. It took 4x the usual amount to paint my livingroom at $90/gal Then a week later I hung some stuff on the wall using the command hooks, like I have done for years only to wake up the next morning and they fell off the walls and took big gobs of the paint with it. Why did the primer stay but not the behr paint? Is it so they can suck another $90 outta me? Don't waste your money

Hi Vinn2, thank you for your question. I'm sorry to hear about the paint coming off your wall. That is not typical, and I can understand your frustration. To fix the issue, I recommend removing any loose coating and touching up the area. If needed, apply a thin coat for uniformity. The paint needs about 14 days to cure and dry to proper hardness and durability. Please note that high humidity can slow down the dry time. In general, it's best to allow paint to fully cure before hanging anything on the surface to avoid touch-ups. In any case, customer satisfaction is important to us, and we appreciate your feedback. I had the paint color matched pale pink and light blue. When I opened the paint both cans had a bunch of stuff floating in them. It looked a bit like fibers but some were round. I contacted the store and they suggested I return it. Tomorrow I will make the 2 hour round trip to return the paint.

Even prepping the wall doesn’t work
I bought this to turn a living room wall into a projector screen wall. I cleaned the wall, which was already a flat sand color, and then applied a coat of primer as recommended. I put on a coat of this useless watery substance, even the primer is showing through. Do not buy this, it’s a waste of effort and money.

Hi Noneya1234, thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear that the paint was watering and didn't cover well. This is not normal, and I understand your disappointment. The paint should have a creamy consistency. Also, I wanted to share that our coatings are not designed to be screen projectors and I recommend looking into a specialty product for this use. Customer satisfaction is important to us, and we appreciate your feedback. Please reach out to us directly if you need further assistance; our customer care team is happy to help you! -Giovanna Behr

                  7 coats won't cover
Salesman told me this was his best paint, but I have painted many times, and I would rather pay a little more to get one or 2 coat coverage, he just went and put it in my cart, I am convinced I will never get even coverage.

Equestrian Green used to paint oval on wall
Moobience used this deep soft green to accent the TV wall of a New York Metro Area condo. The oval painting on the wall serves as a focal point and is accented by house plants wonderfully. The application was smooth and took about two coats but we could not be happier with the results. There is a little more rub off than usual even with matte paints in consideration - so this is not a good idea for high traffic areas.
