Can I put a sealer on this paint to protect it? If so, please indicate a recommended type? I assume acrylic. I used color flakes to enhance the appearance and would like to seal them in. This is a basement floor that will not be exposed to tire heat or fluids.

I don't know for sure but I doubt it since it's not porous.

how much do I need for 1400 square ft.

Asked by: dogcatcher313g
Hi dogcatcher313g, Thank you for your question about our 1-Part Epoxy Paint. You'd need about 3.5 gallons for the first coat. However, if a second coat is needed, you'd need a little over 3 gallons; in total, it would be 7 gallons. I hope this was helpful, and best of luck on your project. -Edith
