Can this paint be use for wood kitchen cabinets

I agree with most of the other answers bit in addition I would use a small roller to apply and them over brush it with a high quality brush to avoid the roller marks and since the roller can cover almost the whole door it can be brushed quickly without any problems. It is VERY IMPORTANT that once it is applied DO NOT go over it again after the first few minutes because it will break the glass like finish and ruin the whole smooth effect. Wait at least an hour before doing a second coat and follow the same time format as the first coat. If you follow these simple words of advise you will be awarded with a finish that will last for years and is super easy to clean when needed. Good Luck!!!

How do i thin this paint for spraying....

I am painting the doors of a bath vanity and would like a very smooth look so will be using an air paint sprayer. How do i thin this paint to apply with the pain sprayer.

can exterior paint be used on interior

I would check the manufacturer to see for sure. Obviously if the labels states such, you can, but your question was related to Exterior paint. I know that Sherwin Williams say Not to use their Exterior Paint Indoors because of off gassing. The idea of using an Exterior Paint on things like Interior Window sills is appealing because of the UV rays that come in through the windows and hit those areas. Exterior paint should provide better protection for these areas, but again, consult the manufacturer to see if any harmful gasses or whatever may be present in their Exterior Paint before using inside.

how many sq ft does one gallon cover?

I've used this on trim and doors only, and never did pay attention to coverage. A gallon paints a lot of trim.

Didn't need to thin it or anything to shoot it thru my graco paint gun. It has a hi-gloss finish that is both pretty and durable. Covers best in two thin coats rather than one thick coat. Was happy with the results on a counter I built for a convenience store.

Extremely good coverage, sprayed 1 coat over DARK blue painted concrete blocks. 3rd time Ive used this high gloss enamel and results have been great over painted concrete block. Washes well and stands up to abuse. This was used in a Dairy milking barn, extreme conditions,wet, dirty, and a small window of time to apply and dry. Has proven to be an excellent choice.

I have used this in many of the homes and businesses I have worked in and the results are simple INCREDIBLE. It leaves a surface that is extremely durable with a glass like finish that is very easy to clean and holds up to kicks and dirt. It looks great on molding and ceiling trim and works wonders in the kitchen and bathroom. It's very durable and water resistant. It wears like a rock and has never let me down. It leaves a long lasting smooth finish that looks wonderful.

This is absolutely the best paint I have ever used for general indoor stairwell/door trim, window sills, trim and molding; and, especially cabinets and cabinet doors for bath and kitchen . Excellent paint. 5 Stars! Depending on the roller used, the surface texture can be varied from a professional, shiny-and-smooth spray-on look to a rough, spackled surface. Also holds very well outdoors on bare wood and all prepped, painted porches and handrails.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don’t waste your time! Run away from this paint as quickly as possible! Professional painter here, and truly would not wish my experience upon anyone. Shot 14 doors for one of our clients today with the 3/11 tip (very small). Useualy tack time is fairly quickly, 30minutes to an hr. This stuff was aweful! Spray time only took 30 minutes for a light 1st coat (typical) and looked great at first. On closer inspection the paint was running off the doors. Immediately started to back brush the entire door, needless to say the paint behaved this way on all the doors. Spent 3 additional hrs back brushing both sides of all the doors. Guess what, 3 hrs later and the paint was still in full liquid state, zero tack. Yes it was shaken and mixed well prior to use, only a single coat applied, yes interior temps were more than ideal, yet this paint acted up. Worst paint I have ever used, will not make that mistake again.

I found it very easy to cover everything I needed with one coat. The high gloss enamel does lend itself to brush marks, but I found this minimized if I loaded up the brush and kept my strokes consistent.
