- Use BEHR ULTRA Paint as a primer for repaired or uncoated surfaces, including woods that contain tannins (two primer coats required for redwood and cedar) and heavily stained areas. Lock in stains with the first primer coat; if necessary, apply a second primer coat of BEHR ULTRA Paint

Repainting shutters
Bought to change color and refresh shutters. Used the Behr Ultra paint in a Wagner Flexio 3500 sprayer. I thinned the paint some and couldn't have been more satisfied with how it covered the shutters. I applied two coats and thd finish when done was a nuce rich finish. It had a very nice shine. Really makes tge house stand out.

Worked just great for me.
Used this as a color match for my shed to match the house color scheme.
Used my graco paint sprayer and had it done in no time at all. Flowed smoothly with no thinning.

Amazing paint that I used on my van bumpers & plastic!
I've always loved Behr. I've used it for painting old furniture, arts & crafts, walls in my home. This time, I used this paint for painting the plastic on my '10 Ford Transit Connect. I did the bumpers & all 4 plastic wheel wells. I did this a month ago & it looks like brand new! No chipping. No fading. No scratching. It dries smoothly & very quickly! Behr hasn't disappointed me yet!

Expensive, but worth it
I used this for a piece of furniture, a frame, and also for touch-up on painted furniture. It is definitely durable, easy-to-clean, and stain blocking. It reminds me of working with enamel paint. Since the one I have is semi-gloss, there was a significant issue with paint brush strokes, and it is impossible to blend paint that is not painted at the same time (because the light will shine on it and show texture differentiation.) I addressed this problem by sanding between coats with very fine sandpaper. If one coat coverage is desired, make sure surface is ready to absorb paint (see last photo where the surface was too smooth) and also use a high quality paint brush or roller.

unique finish
BEHR DYNASTY Black Eggshell finish this is quiet the unique finish. Interior stain blocking paint with primer. This paint is the best covering paint I have ever used. Another great product by BEHR the only paint I will ever use. It covers printed drywall in one coat no priming or anything. Covers in one coat saves time and money. You won't find any other paint better than this paint.

great paint
I got this paint for different project but this came up a screen room I am adding on and I had bronze screen rails I though this paint would look great for under the rails and it will look great and against the dark grey siding too. Covered in one coat over pressure treated wood which is pretty amazing and it look great. I never use any other kind of paint but Behr the best paint ever for any project.

Possibly the best paint I've ever used!
This is my second time using the new BEHR Dynasty paint. We just used it in our dining room and it was fantastic in there. Now we have used it in a bedroom as an accent wall and it looks fabulous in there also.
This paint rolls on very smoothly and dries very quickly. The coverage is excellent also. I was able to dismantle our room, paint the wall and put it all back together in the same day. This was my 2nd time using a flat paint inside my house. The minimum sheen I usually use is eggshell but after using the interior flat I like it even better.
BEHR Dynasty will be my new paint going forward anytime I can use it. Also I have never had paint shipped to me before but it came in perfect condition with no problems. They even include a screw on pour spout and cap so it makes pouring out the paint and storing the paint super easy. I'm so used to paint going down the side of the can that it seems odd to not have to take a paint brush to the side of the can for drips but those days appear to be gone for good now.
If you haven't tried the new BEHR Dynasty paint I would positively give it a try. It's fantastic!

Dynasty is a superior paint
BEHR DYNASTY 1 gal. Black One-Coat Hide Matte Interior Stain-Blocking Paint & Primer
This is a superior paint. It covered purple in one shot. We often have to use a black base for specialty projects. We had some pecky cypress that we repurposed for paneling. Pecky in some cases has holes all the way through If you paint the background back they do not show up. We also use black for art projects and for covering shelves that were cheaply made. There is nothing worse than a partly used can of paint that has rusted. That happens quickly in Florida. This type of container is by far the best development in paint cans in the last 30 years. Makes it easy to save that last little bit for touch-ups in the future. This paint is as good or better than most brand names for value
