BEHR ULTRA SCUFF DEFENSE Stain-Blocking Paint and Primer* is an interior paint that's too tough to scuff and sets a new standard for paint durability. BEHR ULTRA SCUFF DEFENSE features breakthrough innovation to deliver a rich finish that is truly durable enough for high-traffic areas.This lush, versatile sheen creates a pearl-like appearance that's ideal for the walls but also for trim, doors, cabinets and indoor furniture. Don't settle or compromise between the look you desire and higher level of durability you require. *A PRIMER COAT MAY BE NEEDED ON SOME SURFACES. SEE BACK LABEL FOR DETAILS.
- Suitable for family rooms, living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, kids' rooms, hallways, kitchens, bathrooms, doors, windows, trim, cabinets, shutters and interior furniture
- Satin finish offers a pearl-like appearance
- Excellent hide; 1 gallon covers up to 400 sq. ft. depending on application, color and surface porosity
- For best application, use a high quality 3/8 in. - 1/2 in. nap roller cover, nylon/polyester brush or airless sprayer (0.015 in. - 0.019 in. spray tip, 60 mesh filter)
- Use BEHR ULTRA SCUFF DEFENSE Paint as a primer for properly prepared uncoated or painted interior surfaces, including woods that contain tannins (2 primer coats required for redwood and cedar) and heavily stained areas
- Lock in stains with BEHR ULTRA SCUFF DEFENSE Paint as a spot primer, for heavy stains, test for stain bleed-through by applying BEHR ULTRA SCUFF DEFENSE Paint to a small section, if stain bleeds through, spot prime another coat to the stained area and test again before top coating, if bleeding continues, a longer dry time is needed before top coating
- Apply when air and surface temperatures are between 50°F-90°F (10°C-32°C), darker colors may require additional dry time between coats, cooler temperatures or higher humidity may prolong drying time
- Extra-durable paint film
- Advanced scuff and mar resistance helps protect wall surfaces in busy households. Do not use on floors.
- Shoelace is a light greige with a light beige undertone. Depending on the light source or time of day, it may appear as a warm white on the walls.

Great coverage

Great interior paint
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We repainted our whole house and I really truly like this BEHR interior paint. Didn't need a whole lot at a time, and it dried pretty quick. We only needed one fresh coat and we are overjoyed with the look of our first new home. The paint really made a whole lot of a difference. Scuff defense means that! Excellent paint for the value and it looks amazing.

Wonderful to work with

The color went on smooth and was as rich and deep as I expected it to be. It didn't fade and was easy to clean.

Granny Pod
