Paint with peace of mind, BEHR ULTRA Exterior Paint resists rain in as little as 60 minutes after application. This satin enamel sheen gives your home’s siding, trim and fences a pearl-like finish that also looks great on doors, trim and masonry. *A PRIMER COAT MAY BE NEEDED ON SOME SURFACES. - Ideal for application on wood, vinyl, stucco, aluminum, metals, steel, doors, windows, trim, shutters, garage doors and outdoor furniture
- Satin enamel sheen offers a pearl-like appearance
- Excellent hide; 1 gallon covers up to 400 sq. ft. depending on application, color and surface porosity
- On semi-smooth surfaces, use a high quality 3/8 in. - 1/2 in. nap roller cover, nylon/polyester brush or an airless sprayer (0.015 in. - 0.021 in. spray tip, 60 mesh filter). On rough surfaces, use a high quality ¾ in. - 1 in. nap roller cover
- Use BEHR ULTRA Paint as a primer for repaired or uncoated surfaces, including woods that contain tannins (two primer coats required for redwood and cedar) and heavily stained areas. Lock in stains with the first primer coat; if necessary, apply a second primer coat of BEHR ULTRA Paint
- Apply product on dry substrates when air and surface temperatures are between 35°-90°F (2°-32°C) and will remain between 35°-90°F (2°-32°C) for at least 4 hours after applying
- Extra-protective finish guards against damage from sunlight and moisture for a long-lasting freshly painted look with minimal maintenance

Hasn't lasted long for me...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I see so many excellent reviews, but I just haven't had good results. I have been through three 5 gallon purchases of this stuff on my small house (I fear switching paints.) Every year I need to touch it up, particularly when I wash it down with a hose, the paint flys right off in spots. I followed the instructions and applied it with a sprayer (now I touch-up by hand.) It is an older home with masonite hardboard siding, but I still feel it should stay in better condition and last longer than it has. I would take pics., but I recently did more touch-ups.

Best bang for your buck!

When I moved in 2012and had to paint my 1870"s home, I was shocked to find out Benjamin Moore exterior was over sixty dollars a gallon! I researched a quality paint for less money and all roads led to Behr. I thought I'd give it a try and haven't looked back. It is my go-to paint for interio and exterior paint and deck stain. The quality is superior to many and comparable to the top manufacturers in the paint industry for half the price, plus!

Best paint and low voc
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the ultra white for my bee hives. I am an asthmatic and this paint didn't bother me at all. It has held up under some tough situations and lasted well. We use hive tools and it gets hit with smokers and all kinds and it still holds up. My bees aren't offended by any smell. It is great.

Better finish than the boutique brands
