About This Product
BEHR ULTRA Exterior is a versatile Stain-Blocking Paint & Primer with excellent durability and hide in fewer coats. Paint with peace of mind, BEHR ULTRA Exterior Paint resists rain in as little as 60 minutes after application. This traditional, non-reflective flat sheen minimizes surface imperfections and provides excellent touch-up. BEHR ULTRA Exterior Paint can be used on stucco, wood, vinyl, brick and other masonry, as well as fences. *A PRIMER COAT MAY BE NEEDED ON SOME SURFACES. SEE BACK LABEL FOR DETAILS.

- On semi-smooth surfaces, use a high quality 3/8 in. - 1/2 in. nap roller cover, nylon/polyester brush or an airless sprayer (0.015 in. - 0.021 in. spray tip, 60 mesh filter). On rough surfaces, use a high quality ¾ in. - 1 in. nap roller cover
- Use BEHR ULTRA Paint as a primer for repaired or uncoated surfaces, including woods that contain tannins (two primer coats required for redwood and cedar) and heavily stained areas. Lock in stains with the first primer coat; if necessary, apply a second primer coat of BEHR ULTRA Paint
- Apply product on dry substrates when air and surface temperatures are between 35°-90°F (2°-32°C) and will remain between 35°-90°F (2°-32°C) for at least 4 hours after applying
- Extra-protective finish guards against damage from sunlight and moisture for a long-lasting freshly painted look with minimal maintenance

Can I paint vinyl

If your vinyl surface is very smooth, I recommend scuff sanding it, cleaning it with a damp rag, and allowing the surface to dry. Once the surface is dry, you may apply your coat of paint. I want to do some faux stones along the side of a 1 part epoxy painted driveway. A clear coat will be applied to the entire driveway. Will this paint hold up, will it fade?

Can this be used over a stained deck?

Can this be used on pvc exterior trim boards?
Hi Charlie, thank you for your question. We do not recommend using our Ultra Exterior Paint directly on PVC. However, you can prime with our Bonding Primer No. 432 first and then topcoat with the Ultra Paint. The primer is designed to adhere to slick and tough-to-paint surfaces like PVC.
