- On semi-smooth surfaces, use a high quality 3/8 in. - 1/2 in. nap roller cover, nylon/polyester brush or an airless sprayer (0.015 in. - 0.021 in. spray tip, 60 mesh filter). On rough surfaces, use a high quality ¾ in. - 1 in. nap roller cover
- Use BEHR ULTRA Paint as a primer for repaired or uncoated surfaces, including woods that contain tannins (two primer coats required for redwood and cedar) and heavily stained areas. Lock in stains with the first primer coat; if necessary, apply a second primer coat of BEHR ULTRA Paint
- Apply product on dry substrates when air and surface temperatures are between 35°-90°F (2°-32°C) and will remain between 35°-90°F (2°-32°C) for at least 4 hours after applying

Not the color I wanted
This is horrible order it online thinking it would be easy. Online pics are so deceiving. It more is a light blue then gray. So unbelievable

Great paint quality, but the color isn’t as gray-toned, it is more of a light grayish lavender. It’s doable since it’s meant for bathroom walls, but a little disappointing how off the color is with the online image (viewed on different device screens). Had color shipped to store as it wasn’t instantly available.

Amazing Results!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used multiple BEHR products. The one which stands out due to the unique nature of the project, is the exterior paint I used for painting vintage (1950’s!) intricate iron properly gates and courtyard ironwork. I chose a GORGEOUS color (Jade Mountain) and the outcome was remarkable. The paint itself was of such high quality and easy to work with and that it took so well to wrought iron with such a Beautiful finish was impressive. I also used exterior semigloss (Cosmic Cobalt) for shutters and doors. It went on so smoothly and the colors are magnificent and singular! Neighbors and passers stop to notice and BEHR inevitably comes up. I’ve also used the interiors and I plan to paint wooden kitchen cabinets without fear that it will be anything less than beautiful and durable. Highly recommend over all other brands!!!

Behr Color of the Month-Ultra Semi Gloss Exterior
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our front door had been painted white for the 43 years we had lived in our home. On receiving an email from Behr advertising their color of the month, on a whim I purchased Nocturne Blue and changed that tradition. What a difference. It contrasted perfectly with the grey exterior. The paint went on exceptionally easy, it covered well, and the semi-gloss finish was perfect for an entryway to the house. It looks good and has shown durability in a direct south facing exposure, and its first harsh New England winter. Five stars for this excellent product.

Excellent coverage
