BEHR ULTRA Exterior is a versatile Stain-Blocking Paint & Primer with excellent durability and hide in fewer coats. Paint with peace of mind, BEHR ULTRA Exterior Paint resists rain in as little as 60 minutes after application. This satin enamel sheen gives your home’s siding, trim and fences a pearl-like finish that also looks great on doors, trim and masonry. *A PRIMER COAT MAY BE NEEDED ON SOME SURFACES. Highlights

- 1 quart covers up to 100 sq. ft. depending on application, color and surface porosity
- On semi-smooth surfaces, use a high quality 3/8 in. - 1/2 in. nap roller cover, nylon/polyester brush or an airless sprayer (0.015 in. - 0.021 in. spray tip, 60 mesh filter). On rough surfaces, use a high quality ¾ in. - 1 in. nap roller cover
- Use BEHR ULTRA® Paint as a primer for repaired or uncoated surfaces, including woods that contain tannins (two primer coats required for redwood and cedar) and heavily stained areas. Lock in stains with the first primer coat; if necessary, apply a second primer coat of BEHR ULTRA Paint
- Apply product on dry substrates when air and surface temperatures are between 35°-90°F (2°-32°C) and will remain between 35°-90°F (2°-32°C) for at least 4 hours after applying

Q:I purchased BEHR ULTRA Satin finish to paint my aluminum siding based on a recommendation from a Home Depot rep. It went on great but is too shiny only applied one coat, can I apply the second coat in eggshell or flat?

Q:Can we get an actual paint swatch? I picked up some swatches from the store (they didn't have exactly the one I wanted) and some look quite a bit different from on the computer screen.

The girl who helped me in the store was very nice. She told me what kind of paint how much I needed mixed up quickly. It was extremely helpful. The paint paint went on great and I love the end product.

Good paint but really thick so thick it’s hard to pour out of the bucket , dries really fast in the pan splatters because of being so thick , but with all of that said after you get use to it it’s great paint seems very durable , it covers good it seems 2 coats is best , it’s pricey but well worth it , so in the end yes it has some drawbacks but also seems like great paint I would highly recommend it

Great front door paint
I used this to paint my front door. I bought a lighter color (Beachside Drive) to cover a dark blue. After cleaning the door, no priming, it took two coats. Looks beautiful. Hardly used any paint in the can so now I'm trying to figure out what else in my house I can paint this color.

Ruined by Water
Unfortunately we had a surprise rainfall within 24 hours of application, although product says "rain resistant after just 60 minutes", we ended up with huge water bubbles trapped in the paint. We applied a high quality Zinsser primer to our metal building first. Used a paint sprayer to apply the paint, worked beautifully. No problems with actual application whatsoever. This is the first time anything like this has ever happened. Building is water tight. Still getting new bubbles months later.

Customer satisfaction is our priority, and we want to help. To fix the issue, scrape off the bubbles, sand the edges smooth if needed, clean the area, and allow it to dry.
