What is the measurement from top to bottom screw holes?

AnswersThe box cover is not square. In the long dimension I get 3-9/16". Maybe it's supposed to be 3-1/2" and is off a little. In the long dimension I get 3-1/4". The HD part number is 169381. The manufacturer is now Commercial Electric, not Bell. The box in the photo is HD part number 537357.

AnswersOverall size is 4-13/16" x 4-13/16" x 1/4" See my other answer for hole spacing, which is not square. The 1/4" thickness is after the sealing gasket is smashed down.

AnswerYes, but I would first spray on a self-etching primer. Otherwise the paint will not cover smoothly and could possibly peel.

This is by far and away the BEST 2Gang Blank Plastic Cover - Gray I have ever purchased! The rounded corners and smooth feeling surface are pleasing to the touch and the recessed screw holes are are engineering genius. The gray color is actually molded into the High-impact polycarbonate plastic! Amazing! This surpasses any expectations I may have had. Oh yeah it's weatherproof.
