Lampholder combinations provide weatherproof protection for general outdoor lighting applications. Great for use in illuminating walkways, driveways and patios. The lampholders and cover are for use with 4 in. round splice boxes.

Answer

Yes, this fixture will work with a variety of bulbs however please note you will have to turn the fixture on at night and turn it off in the morning without a dimmer. Our fixture model #5882-7 features a built in LED motion sensor for easier use.

The back porch light wasn't adequate to see what the critters were doing at night, so we added spotlights. It's pretty straightforward: you wire it in, screw in a light bulb, and you have light. Just be aware that it's made of stuff that might give you some awful disease if you're in California.
