Good full plant.
These plants were packed well for shipping. They were packed inside vented plastic bags in one box. I opened up the plastic bags and the plants expanded like one of those mattresses packed in a box. It was full of unopened buds. The plant's blooms opened up after about a week. The only issue was that I received yellow/orange instead of red but the plants worked for the fall.

They arrived very, very healthy and ready to bloom!
They arrived very, very healthy and ready to bloom! There are each a solid mass of blooms. Just perfect! This is the first time I have ordered flowers from Home Depot. I have picked up a few things from their garden center, but never had them delivered to my doorstep. The plants arrived in perfect shape, but at an inconvenient time. They arrived Sunday afternoon, just as I was packing for a week-long trip! I quickly opened the box, cut open the plastic covering, and placed the pots on my back porch in a tray with about ½” of water in the bottom. I also spritzed the tops a bit. Then I left a note asking the person who comes to feed my cat to refill the tray under the pot on Wednesday. They were still healthy when I returned late on Friday. I took a photo of each plant on Saturday. The blooms are smaller than the potted Mums that I remember my Mother often using as “Get-Well-Soon” gifts for friends in the hospital. Also, I ordered Red Chrysanthemum’s expecting a wine colored flower, but these are more burnt orange and yellow. They are healthy and beautiful, though, and I am looking forward to a few more weeks of color on my porch.

Great Plants
These are very healthy large plants that are shipped in a very good cardboard box with cardboard cut outs that hold the plants in place. I was very impressed about how large these plants were and at how many buds they had on each plant as well as the color on the ones that were beginning to bloom. I planted them within 3 days of having received them and they did very well and I look forward to having these4 plants for many years to come.

Beautiful specimens
Online shopping and delivery has reached new heights in the world we live in today. Now, beautiful plants delivered right to your door. You don’t even need to leave your house.
Home Depot has taken plant delivery to the next level. And they show a lot of concern for it. It shows by the construction of the special shipping box and shipping method to make sure your plants arrive safely. Even the special box is labeled as such.
And arrive safely they did. And what beautiful specimens !! I could not of picked out any better plants if I did it myself in the Garden Center. These Mums were nice and healthy. And they bloomed right up in about 1 week. Look at my pictures.
Sadly these mums do not come with growing instructions in the box. They should because mums are beautiful and expensive, and most people get them in the fall, let them bloom, let them freeze, then they die. So, most people think of a mum as an annual. They are not. With special care, they’ll regrow. People always buy these mums in the fall and they don’t make it.
So, my tips. You treat your mums your way. First, water these things often until they stop blooming. Next, repot into a larger pot as soon as you get them and put in a sunny location outside. When it starts getting colder, they’ll start to wilt off. Don’t let them freeze !!! Cut the back to about 3”, water, then move them into a colder semi- heated garage. Don’t subject them to a temp. where the roots freeze.
In the spring warm-up, you can plant your mums in the ground and they have all year long to establish their roots in the ground to make it through next winter. Pinch the blooms all summer for a fall bloom-up. Cut back, mulch and wait for next year with your perennial mums.

Looking good!
Let me preface this review with saying that I did not receive red I received yellow which is fine but was a bit of a surprise when I opened the box :-) both mums are very nice as far as the size with many many buds on them so I'm looking forward to watching them bloom. They came nicely packaged and survived the shipping with nothing broken! Be prepared though when you pop them out of the container to take your hands using your thumbs and push into the bottom to break up some of that very thick root system that is just as hard as a rock. You need to do that so the mum can be happier and able to grow since these look like they're on the verge of being root bound. They'll come out of it but just make sure that you popped the bottom and give them some room and some air too spread out their roots.

These mums are super nice, very healthy and vigorous
Bell Nursery does a great job of packaging their plants! Mine arrived, two in a box, and look wonderful. They are almost ready to bloom, I'm glad I have them planted already, before any chance of frost. Just lovely. You might think plants, shipped in the mail, might have suffered from a host of accidents, but I am very pleased. Healthy, well-watered, ready to plant!

Full of flower heads
These plants are far more full than I had expected. (Nice surprise) They came packed well in a nice sturdy box. They were wrapped nicely with breathable mesh and plastic. Once the packaging was removed, they unfolded into these beautiful, well shaped, almost bush like plants. They are really healthy plants. I didn't notice any dead, dying or broken stems. The entire tops of each plant is full of blooms!! I got these for my porch and could never have imagined they would be as nice as they are. I Cait wait to see them in their full colors! I would highly recommend these!

Healthy plants at a great price
Mums are spectacular, and Bell Nursery provides a healthy, sturdy plant with plenty of root growth to add a pop of color to the garden. The pair that arrived in 3 quart pots were vibrantly alive with dark green growth and sturdy stems. The flower buds on one were still tight, and on the other they had just started to open. The flower buds are profuse, so they will be spectacular when they begin to bloom.
Bug free in foliage and soil is a big plus, as I've gotten things before from growers with pests already attacking the plants.

Gotta have mums!
When your spring and summer flowers are either gone or coming to the end you have to have mums to brighten up the beginning of fall. I am in a zone five but I have had some luck with mums that come back each season. There have been some that only came back for 2 to 3 years and then never came back but I did get enjoyment out of them when they did. So it is hit or miss. These mums were delivered so healthy, but not yet in bloom. I look forward to the red blossoms. Also known as chrysanthemums, mums for short is a beautiful plant for the fall season! These are 3 quart chrysanthemums in an 8 inch growers pot and a two pack!

Red chrysanthemum
I love plants and adding new selections to my patio area so I chose these red chrysanthemums from Bell Nursery When I received them they were packed very well and in great condition. I removed them from their container and planted them in some of my existing decorative planters. They look great, are a wonderful addition to my garden and are very easy to take care of. Love these plants
