I do not have the box in front of me but it says the ground screw is installed. It should be on the bottom, flat portion of the box. I read the HD project description and it states the comment above about the ground screw.
EXTERIOR GO FOR THE PLASTIC
Yes, With matching plastic closure plugs.
This box is not rated for ceiling fan use. You might consider our model #PRCF57550BZ. It has the appropriate design and is ceiling fan rated.
I am planning on mounting one of these on the exterior of my garage. What kind of connector should I used? I am getting the feed from the inside of the garage. I am running 1/2" EMT.
Two things come to mind for this question. First and most likely, bronze color is less popular and that means higher manufacturing costs and therefore higher prices. Second the bronze paint does cost more.

I believe so, i have used two of these for my outdoor overhead and shed outdoor lights which had decent weight. These are very sturdy boxes I like them quite a bit and are very happy with them. Might just ensure you use some longer stronger screws for mounting maybe something galvanized. I would definitely make certain whatever your mounting to is VERY sturdy.
Any adaptor with a 1/2” NPT thread will work from 1/2” to 1” pvc pipe , you can also use galvanized pipe fittings
They work fine for outdoor use and the molded tabs won’t rust away
