I've been plumbing since 1974. I've never seen a toilet seat that was designed to be sized to be butt friendly
At the time when I purchased this seat they only had it in white.
No. It is defective. Return it to the store if it's not too old (1year???) and/or it looks to have many more miles left on it. That feature should last for years.
Follow-up. Do NOT call the Service Desk, as they told me to contact the manufacturer, which NOT the correct answer. If the item is less than a year old, wrap it in a clear bag, I happened to have the original bag and box, and return to the store with the original receipt for a replacement. They may send the faulty home with you to dispose of but do need it just to verify the purchase. As a side note, I did contact Bemis, the manufacturer via their email service and detailed the issues I had with the Store and like any good business. They sent me a brand new via UPS that I now can use as a backup. Kudo's to Bemis, this is why I have 3 of these in my home, and will definitely look to them in the future if needed. I never forget a company that stands behind their products.
It works great.
My was installed last summer. It still soft closes but is slightly off center. I must get on my knees and tighten whichever side. No problems.
The bolts are stainless but covers are white
No, it’s not wood
I have no idea what that really is, but it is supposed to be a typical standard size toilet lid. I love the soft close and am going to get another one!
