Two Tbsp. of this and a thorough watering on my newly planted 24"-box Ceiba speciosa (sometimes called Chorisia speciosa--a floss silk tree) produced excellent growth that I'm still seeing almost a month later. (For reference, I live in SoCal, in an environment that's somewhere between desert, foothill forest, and chaparral: very well-drained soil, possibly just slightly alkaline, and the highs were consistently above 100 degrees in late August when I used the fertilizer.) My Ceiba's on a dripline, getting 1 gallon a night on those hot days, and now 1 gallon three times a week now that it's cooled off to highs in the low 90s or lower, but I also give it one thorough soaking a week. Now that things have cooled down, it's looking very happy indeed, and the growth is visibly noticeable every day. I'll be using the Citrus Gain at least twice next year (spring and late summer), and maybe a third time during early/middle summer if it looks like it needs it (Ceibas can apparently be fertilizer-hungry). Considering that I only needed 2 Tbsp this time, and I probably won't need much more next spring, the 10-lb. bag was probably way more than I needed; this should last me for years; I might use a little bit on my new Meyer lemon tree when it gets big enough, to see how it does (though I've read that Meyer's prefer a different balance).

You just sprinkle a little bit around the trees the distance of how far the Lims and leaves go out and your go to go. My trees are very healthy. I highly recommend this product so you can save money and not higher and outsider to do the same thing.
