Cuts every time, but never square
This is my second saw of this model; the first was returned for the same problem I have with my current one. The blade is not square to the shoe and the shoe is warped. Other than that, every time I pull the trigger the blade spins and the lasers turns on. The build quality is very good; other than the saw being crooked. When following a line or the laser, the saw bogs down because the blade tries to work its way to the right instead of staying true to the cut. It also doesn't cut straight vertically (see photo). I would recommend this saw to someone else if all you need are rough cuts. If you want a saw that can cut straight, this is not a good choice.

Saw and Laser go in different directions
Not happy, bought back in April, am a seasoned wood worker. But after couple of uses over the last 5 months, found that the construction is bad quality. Saw similar reviews on here and other websites. Going to contact customer service and request a refund.

useless
Bought this for a gift for my father in April. He tried using it for the first time today. The saw tries to veer to the right when trying to cut, then if you try to correct it (to saw a straight line), the saw bogs down and jams... then kicks back on you. Very dangerous... Sadly I don't have a box anymore, so unable to return to the store.

Does its job
This saw works well enough. My husband bought it to cut 2 strings for a couple new sets of stairs on the front porch and back deck. It's not SUPER smooth and you need 2 hands to cut with it. Luckily we have two stands he can put the wood on and I held it and he was able to use this to cut the stringers.

Black & Decker circular saw
The saw is lighter than my old Black & Decker. Very easy to handle.
The laser works, but is difficult to see outdoors. Be careful of ‘kickback’.

Like the brand!
Very good circular saw at the lowest price! No frills tool, deliver the cuts without problems. Had to change the blade that came with it for one more suited for my little wood projects but I expected that.

Great for the price
Have had this for several years and I must say it's a tough guy. Cutting a LOT of 100 YEAR OLD VERY SEASONED WOOD reclaimed from an old Texas factory it really took it on great. Still runs like a champ. The lazer is only thing that could use improvement, which by now it may have been. I'm quite happy with it and when it goes to happy cutting ground in the sky I will be buying another... so keep it excellent (don't cut corners in mfg!).

Good saw
Good saw for the price. Only thing is it comes with a cheap HSS blade, which I immediately replaced with carbide.I only use it with Kreg guide track so I don't have to switch out saws. It's powerful enough to cut anything and light weight.
