AnswerI think it's just for minor use. Do not expect it to cut through hard/thick wood, otherwise it will keep struggle and the battery will die sooner. Try to get a more fine blade, it may help or just upgrade to a more professional saw.

Best purchase Ever!!!
I was extremely skeptical at first to go with Black and Decker, since most people use other brands but this outperformed my DeWALT, Bosch, & Makita! And it was so much less expensive. After a friend helped me build my deck with it, he went out and bought the same one. It really is a powerful saw, battery lasts forever on a single charge. I have to admit I was stuck in my ways “brand names” but Black and Decker is back!

I went to home depot looking for a nice circular saw and i didn't want to spend a whole lot of money. The black and Decker 20v cordless circular saw fit that criteria. The only reason I am giving a 1 star rating is because of the shady advertisement on the box. One side of the box was dedicated to how the black and Decker tool set only uses 1 battery. you can see in the picture it say 1 battery system. This led me to believe that it came with a battery. I suppose it is my own fault for not looking at the tiny symbol that says it does not come with a battery. After i got home and found out i went back to go buy a battery. The battery alone costs around $44 and that dosnt even come with a charger. The charger was another $35.

This saw is good for the price and gets the job done. It comes with a 16 tooth blade that is good for very rough cuts. It is powerful enough and easy to use. I was able to cut through 4x4 posts by flipping the post around and it cut nicely enough for rough garden construction. Recommend for rough work but tried to use this for smaller notches in finer work and it wasn't particularly accuraate.
