Unit will not stay assembled
Used this once for about 20 minutes before the unit started falling apart. The upper pole extension seems to work fine, but the housing at the top of the lower pole section fell completely apart. The lower pole section will not stay attached at the housing causing the unit to turn into a limp noodle, it's downhill and dangerous from there. The manual offers no help for this issue. I am sorry I bought this, had hoped for more from this product.

This is good for small garden BUT
It looks good for small gardens, it is really light and easily portable, but after several uses, the blade broke, I bought it last week !!! Also, the battery does not last long, maybe 20 minutes.

New garden helper
I was tired of weeding my 6 ft x 100 ft garden by hand. I wanted the Ryobi rotary cultivator from HD as I have several Ryobi One + tools and love em, but it's discontinued & I wanted a rotary as I can get closer to the plants than a tine cultivator. I found this one. Just used it and did the garden in 15 minutes and didn't kill the battery. I did purchase a spare battery and the 30 minute charger. The charger that comes with it in the kit takes several hours. Now, I'm going to seriously look @ B&D when I need to purchase any new battery powered tools.

Blade broke on first use.
Blade broke on first use in relatively soft soil. No big rocks present just some tough weeds. Will be returning for another product.

Handle assembly
Machine appears to operate as it should after having to machine handle to get it to fit. Bolt was too short and nut too large for plastic insertion spot. After removing black knob on bolt and expanding nut area on reverse side handle could finally be tightened on to shaft. After that no obvious problems.
