The TopShelf A/C Bracket features the following: Avoids damage to the structure/window sills, supports up to 200 lbs., rustproofed, 2-year warranty, Safe, durable and convenient Discalimer: The TopShelf A/C Bracket works with single or double hung windows between 24 in. and 38 in. wide and does not work in slider, crank out, casement and some wood windows. It will also not work with slide out A/C units. The TopShelf A/C Bracket needs 10 of clearance below the window. It also requires a minimum wall thickness of 6 in. and maximum wall thickness of 12 in. The dimension is taken from the inside lower window frame to the exterior sill or ledge if one exists. Always measure the window you intend to use to verify the TopShelf A/C Bracket will accommodate your window. AnswerIt should be fine in a mobile home. It works by displacing the weight of the AC onto the back of the home via the back frame brackets. On the inside of the home it uses adjustable arms to extend out beyond the sides of the window, placing the weight point out past the window and onto the adjoining wall. If there is a lip at the bottom of the window, where the glass and screen close then it is easiest to put a piece of wood parallel to the lip and at the same height to best support the weight underneath on the sill. Having a SILL is the best way for this device to work. Older mobile homes may not have that, newer ones may.

This is far and away the easiest AC support bracket I've ever assembled. It comes with instructions, but it's so straightforward I didn't need them. It fits a wide range of windows, and it's very sturdy. Absolutely worth the price just to save the headache of installation for any bracket that requires screws or drilling.

Really stable platform for my Air Conditioner. I do NOT have the type of window (raise/lower) that it is built for as mine slide side to side, but I was able to just drop it in and still seal around it and the AC unit.
I had removed the accordion side filler panels and built a frame with Plexiglas last year, but it was always ready to fall out of the window. I took a bottom piece off of that and it fits around and above to fill the space above AC where the window normally goes. I used water pipe foam insulation tubes and weather strip to seal any openings left.

Very well made and easy to adjust to different window sizes. Only downside is that you end up with a large opening under the air conditioner. I had to fill it in by stuffing a fair amount of foam all along the window sill. Other than that, I would highly recommend this product. It really makes for a very solid and stable base for your unit, especially if it's a very large, heavy unit like mine. Mine weighs almost 75lbs and I don't think I could get it in the window without one of these supports, not to mention the strain on the window its-self with all that weight pulling out on the window if you had no support under it.

Excellent product! Very easy to assemble and use; completely supports the window A/C that I use without having to drill any holes are make a permanent attachment. I would recommend this product to everyone that wants to sleep easy and not have to worry about their A/C suddenly falling out from the window.

Assembly is really easy and does not require tools. Made installing the AC unit so much easier than trying to balance it on the window ledge. I was concerned about how the bracket would interact with the vinyl siding. So far no damage while supporting the 70# unit.
