Pretty darn good saw. I went to use my very old Bosch saw and "its dead Jim". I started looking for a new Bosch, Dewalt or Makita saw and couldn't make up my mind. I figured I'd grab this one cheap just to finish my project and then decide on a good saw. I did a lot of scroll cuts on 2x4 and some angle cuts that all came out great. The saw cuts straight, smooth and square for me. Its good saw, no need for me to spend a bunch more money on a top end saw because it isn't going to cut much better. My old Bosch (RIP) was a contractors/pro saw. I spent north of 250 on it more than 25 years ago and survived all sorts of job site abuse, like falling off more than one roof and being out in the rain at least once. I doubt this saw could survive any of that, but in my shop its great and I saved a lot of money.
