Awesome jig saw
I just got to use mine building window valance shelves to display my rooster collection. It works great. I don't use the laser guide thing. Scroll settings are sweet.

Like my new zigsaw
I liked this jigsaw, I bought it because my old black and decker was going after 40 plus years of doing all kinds of sawing. I needed to make zig zag cut around older bathtub that I was repairing floor as you step out of tub with 3/4 inch plywood. The saw did a superb job, I dialed set, very simple to zig zag on saw has picture of it on saw. I drew my pattern on card board, then put pattern on plywood, drew with yellow marker that came with saw, saw will follow yellow marker. I advise reading instructions first which are very simple. I love the way it cuts thru wood so fast. I would advise to buy set of blades when you get it. I needed a blade for zig sawing. It uses different blades than the old blades but surprise, the blades change by just pushing down on lever and taking out and put new one in and letting lever up, you are ready to cut, also little compartment to store blades.

This saw was not up to par. The blade was allowed to move side to side, not secure. also the light was for a highlight marker, It was not a infrared like most tools. I returned this tool. Not what I am looking for and poor features

Works fine within certain limits.
Just used this to cut up an old plastic truck bed liner. Those can be tough to cut down. As long as I used a slow speed it cut though the liner like butter. Would not recommend for industrial use but is perfect for home use. The price and features make this product a buy.

This is a replacement of my GC01800
This is a replacement of my GC01800 . The new unit does not have the magnet to hold the blades, and when you open the access panel , the smaller scroll saw blades fall out. But , it does perform as well as my original jigsaw .
