A: Country of Origin is China
A: A driver is a drill-like power tool with an adjustable clutch for driving screws. You use a screwdriver bit, usually Phillips, instead of a drill bit. You set the clutch to allow enough torque for driving the screw without embedding it too deeply -- for example, in drywall. This tool can be used as both a drill and a driver.
A: the driver portion of this drill is it's ability to go from a drill to electric screw driver in seconds.
A: I don't know, as I used mine on wood. You may want to check with a granite contractor to make sure the tool does not put cracks in your granite. G
A: It should. For that job, it's more the bit than the drill.
